I quite like it. I listened to it in my car, and I feel like it would be something I’d only ever listen to around this time of year; but I feel like that’s the purpose. I’m glad he didnt do something like Robbie Williams did and make it a veeryyyh cringey Covid Christmas song. For me it’s an 8/10 . Definitely won’t be able to sing it live though

I'm not usually into paying too much attention to lyrics, but Aldred did a magnificent job with this song. The lyrics are so tender without being corny, they are hopeful and optimistic but not in a cheap way. This song is all about the little subtleties of its writing and instrumentation and I love that.

Nicely done. Much better look to than of late. Nice barnet Mr G and looking in good shape. Dunno why but that pleases me...after the last few years of huge smocks and attrocious barnets!

I like it, but not sure I want to drop $20 on it in physical form anymore though.

Definitely not what I would consider a Christmas song, which is great! I think it's quite beautiful.

Definitely not what I would consider a Christmas song, which is great! I think it's quite beautiful. Brilliant solid vocals. Song itself for me doesn't really go anywhere. Rather like an end to a Broadway musical feel. Yep...shits all over Wandering Star. Very nice for the time of year but not what I was hoping on.

Great vocal performance and nice song but it's not very Liam. If I heard this on the radio and it wasn't Liam singing I'd probably pay little attention and be quite content to never hear the song again And yet, there seems little need for Liam at this stage in the game to do exactly what is expected of him. Especially when the whole world has come largely to a standstill and there was the space to do something a little outside the old "watered-down Oasis" zone. What is very Liam about it is that he knew he could pull it off. That's exactly what I didnt want, him being him too much He's pulled it off beautifully If he had sang some of the songs on his albums like this they would of been much better

After listening to it in full I must say that I like it! The Chorus reminds me of "You never Walk alone" by Gerry and the Pacemakers which is Not a Bad Thing! Is Aldred Liverpool Fan? Btw. my newest tune will be Out tomorrow 12 a.m. CET:

I don't know why but I'm imagining the Man City fans singing this song in the stadium.
And it sounds wonderful

On first listen it's a nice tune, a bit cheesy of course as are all Christmas songs, but I like the arrangement. A very unlikely style for Liam, I sure wouldn't've expected him to ever tackle the Xmas genre, even less in such a retro, romantic style! He's broadening his musical horizons. I wonder how it sounds live on the barge played by his rock band!

It does exactly what it says on the tin and is exactly the sort of tune required for this time of year. Save the drums, bass and anthems for festival season. I’m off to crack open the Sherry, burst into the quality street and put home alone on the box - bosh

I just think the melody is absolutely beautiful. Really happy with it. Fits this time of year perfect.

Hm. Really want to like this and so thankful Liam took the time to make new material, but the chorus doesn’t really take off or go anywhere truly special. 6/10 Edit: Still buying it tomorrow cause it’s Liam and it’s just what I do with any Gallagher tune

It sounds like an X-Factor song, and not in a good way. Really really bland what a letdown.
