personally, I didn't like it very much, but I do think it'll be a success.. it will chart well for sure, especially because it's for charity

Not a vocal I would've thought Liam was capable of again pre As You Were. Very nice job by rKid with his heart in the right place but not something I'd go back to.

I love classic/traditional style Noel tunes, and love most of the albums (except the second half of WBTM), but Wandering Star was a horrible descent into plod land. The only good song to come out of the EPs was "A Dream Is All I Need To Get By". |

Its quite pretty, although not my kind of thing its been quite well done.
I'm glad he didn't throw the kitchen sink at it, it doesn't need it, I like that its sparse. Its just about the right side of sickly sweet pop whereas FWIW is the wrong side of the line.

Very nice song, nice production. Lacking a big orchestra solo/middle 8 or something though. Yeah that's still what's holding it back for me Would've loved an instrumental outro instead of the repeated chorus at the end |

I like the idea of he trying a Sinatra-like ballad for a Christmas benefic single, but it seems the songs from this Cherry Ghost guy are not for me. Still, this is a standalone single between albums and I am glad to have it
