I haven't listened to the official album release of this yet but I will do later. I'm just too busy listening and enjoying Come On You Know on repeat.

It really sounds good. I had such a great time watching it in when it happened, I don't remember the "Hey"s in Shockwave being so....comically....weak.

I've not long finished listening to this and they did a good job with it and it was good to hear it again, I'm glad that it's finally been officially released.

Working late tonight remotely. On my way home however, I stopped by Asda and picked up COYK and Down By The River Thames. A nice pick me up. Good god, DBTRT is fucking marvelous. What a treat for the ears from start to finish.
Just sat here with headphones on and it's making the burden of work a lot easier.
Halo was a particular surprise. It was my least favourite track on WMWN but it's absolutely electric played live.
I was getting bored of my Knebworth disc. This'll fill that void splendidly.

Fairly confident C'Mon You Know will get number 1 especially with all the albums sold linked to tickets for upcoming gigs. I wonder if he could have secured a 5th solo number one if he'd have released this later in the year. His last live one got number 1.

The B-side sounds really very poor, one of the worst-sounding Oasis recordings in my opinion. This is a great version. Headshrinker (probably my fav B-side) is also very good. Columbia kicks a lot of ass as well. |

Don’t really get that – one of the most rock and roll moments of the whole thing. But it seems they kind of opted to take out the “liveness” of the show, perhaps because of the oddity of lacking a physical audience.

The version I've got was ripped from the Youtube link - the quality is decent but its a bit quiet and quite obviously ripped from a video. Is there a better version available? Remember someone said there was a better quality rip around. The original rip was better than the official version. |

How cool would it be if Liam ends with the week with the #1 & #2 albums?
Even scoring #3 (where River Thames is at now) is impressive. I think it's awesome how LG released both albums simultaneously & right before the Knebworth gigs.
I'm indifferent about the COYK album cover, but it's interesting how it's a shot of Liam with a thrilled audience. My takeaway is that the live Liam experience is the greater selling point.
I like to overthink stuff.
