Yeah, I wonder why Guigsy is taking Ignition to court and I wonder if we will ever find out.

Oct. 1 TBA... What could it be? Full version of Liam singing Step Out? Alternate take of Wonderwall? Or just a lyric video for another b-side?? 🤣🤣

A full version of Liam singing Step Out would be great. But I doubt it's that. The re-mastered versions of (What's The Story) Morning Glory? are only a week away. Nearly October already crazy.

I really only care about videos the first time I watch them. Hoping Virtual Reality changes music videos and makes them sort of like an interactive short film that you can experience in different ways.

I never knew Noel’s guitar in the Wonderwall video was such a nice shade of blue - thank fuck for the HD release.

Don't know about you, but I feel a little blasé about these obligatory anniversary reissues of landmark albums every decade or even, as for now with WTSMG, half-decade: we got the 20th anniversary deluxe reissue (Chasing the Sun) not long ago, which had good bonuses; now we got the 25th anniversary reissue. In 5 years they'll sure do something for the 30th anniversary, then the 40th, 50th...
Each time record labels scrape the barrel for rarities & unissued material, each time with diminishing returns: the best rarities were of course reissued first, then you get the leftovers, the next time the leftovers from the previous leftovers (alternate mono mix, snippets of interviews, radio promos & whatnot), it's an endless process crescendoing to these super-deluxe reissues of Dylan albums where they throw in EVERY take of EVERY song (that's also to extend the copyright).
Only the most hardcore completist fans will listen to the bonuses of the latest 5-CD super deluxe reissue of "Village green" more than twice for instance. Reissue, repackage...
Thus I don't feel too excited about this 25th anniversary of MG, I really don't care about the picture disc, nor about watching the videos in 4K or in VR 3D with the smells; I'd rather they released live albums or a proper archives box set.

Honest question, do you think there's that much unreleased material left? Probably not. Noel didn't do demos back then, bar acoustic guide tracks to start the recordings. Probably some rough "demos" of unheard songs, but as for MG sessions, doubt there is that many never heard before tracks. All those have been released as bsides 25 years ago. Even the "throwaway" Bonehead Bank's Holiday has been released. What they could do is do stuff like the Beatles and try alternative mixes that would (Like the Goal version of Morning Glory or DYKWIM from 2016) completely change the songs. Now that would be interesting. We'll get more unheard stuff from post 00s but Noel dont seem interested in reworking that era. yet. I guess there must be a rough demo of Morning Glory as you can hear Noel singing it at the start of Acquiesce which I think came out before they recorded the album.

Literally the only Oasis music video that could benefit from a HD release is Lyla. Fairly cool video too.
But 240p? God bless you, 2005 - much simpler times.

Maybe they should have saved some of the chasing The Sun reissue for the 25th anniversary. I only buy the picture discs etc for my collection. But I agree with you about the videos I haven't watched any of these HD videos.

Admittedly the HD release of DLBIA video looks quality.
Still pointless, though.

This just hit me: They could have easily re-released There And Then in HD.
But no, all we get are more vivid music videos. Management, you’re a disappointment.

This just hit me: They could have easily re-released There And Then in HD. Sadly, no they couldn’t. Earls Court and Maine Road filmed on video - SD forever, Live By The Sea and Knebworth were filmed on film, so perfectly able to release on HD whenever they wish.
