I feel bad for the poor social media person who made that mistake. If both the person AND the location on the photo were incorrect, then it seems like the photo had been mislabeled somehow at some point prior, and now the social media person has Liam yelling at them on Twitter, largely out of his ire about other, higher-level decisions about the anniversary promotion that the social media person probably had nothing to do with. They have been making many mistakes lately, and I'm sure Liam heard that they started hiding tweets about him. After that he started replying to them. The thing is though why hide tweets about Liam. It seems a bit stupid to me.

Noel regarding B-sides that should've been A-sides, "I wish fans would stop going on about it". Lol.
Never.

Exactly. There's so many b.sides which either should've been singles or at least album tracks.

You are right, it's not down to a single person at Ignition doing social media work to get all the details right. I feel for whoever must've had obviously a pretty rough day at work - not his/her fault. But to me, it's perhaps even more worrying that such a mistake could go through some many levels and people, and yet still end up being posted to millions of fans. The image is a part of the digital bundle, and has been prepared in advance. I sent a message to Brian Cannon asking about this two days ago, when I first saw the picture. There are other small mistakes in the images yet to be posted, but nothing important. Just your typical wrong date/place/year. There was a few mistakes with dates being wrong on the source material of the (WTS)MG Chasing The Sun re-issue as well, so all I'm saying is if you're going to actually label something - make sure you do the research. Ask for help if unsure, nothing wrong with that.

I mean at the end of the day who really cares. It’s a photo outtake from 25 years ago about a rock band. Let’s keep perspective.

I'd already forgotten them hiding tweets about him. Okay, I feel a little less bad, that was a really amateur move.

I still can't believe the whole 'Trip Inside (Be Here Now) Demo' shit-show. We never did get a final answer on that, did we?

It's the MG 25th Anniversary so what would fans be expecting? Unheard outtakes, demos and rehearsals from the sessions? Maybe some remixes? Some unseen behind the scenes footage? Maybe an old concert from that era like Knebworth on disc? A gorgeous tie-in hardback book chock full of old photos, interviews, studio documentation?
Instead all we got was 10 old digital photos that weren't even labelled properly.
This celebration could have been subtitled "Where's The Story Moring Glory".

Noel had used Stones' Honky Tonk Women drumloop on Trip Inside real demo. and Oasis Team seems don't want to pay royalties to Stones. The Verve were sued by Stones' ex-manager Allan Klein, Verve paid all royalties from Bitter Sweet Symphony to Stones until 2019. So they put Unknown demo instead of real version.

Good for them! ....And that’s why we will never get SOTSOG reissue w rarities or something like this, why even bother if you can throw at us 1234th reissue of WTS?(MG), make 6543th interview of Noel to promote it, make errors that could easily be corrected in 2min if they asked ppl who were involved (not Noel, he also doesn’t care) and still make money.

#2 in the album chart update! Only Queen to beat! 10,7k chart sales, pretty good! Hope they can keep going. May close the gap with streams but 3k seem to much to overtake Queen Still good nonetheless, hope they can hold on MG is hanging on at #2, but Queen is growing faster. Come on, MG!

Absolutely fookin’ ridiculous to get to the point where the product was being manufactured and shipped to shops before realising this though. Sample clearance and royalties should’ve been sorted out way before then. Amateurs! Amateurs! X

When the SOTSOG reissue is eventually ready... People are still expecting this release to actually happen!? Every major band reissues their albums to cash in on new fans and to milk older fans. If there’s money to be made from reissuing Garbage, Wolfmother and Insane Clown Posse albums, I guarantee SOTSOG will be reissued at some point. There’re enough people on this forum alone to sell out a “limited lenticular sleeved heavyweight 180g purple vinyl” or whatever shit they decide to pull on us. X

As much as I would love Moring Glory to get to number one again let's not forget that the Queen album is full of new songs where as Morning Glory is a reissue. But even so it would be nice if it hangs on to the number 2 slot.

Dyou think the demo of Hello he is talking about is the acoustic one that's knocking about or is there a full band one in the vault somewhere?

Dyou think the demo of Hello he is talking about is the acoustic one that's knocking about or is there a full band one in the vault somewhere? Believe it's the demo. The words are different to the full version, and you'd think if it was the full version guide track recording, then the lyrics would be the same. Also, just Noel's voice sounds more like 94ish than 95.

Exactly. There's so many b.sides which either should've been singles or at least album tracks. The fact that they are b-sides is what makes Oasis so mentally brilliant, though Everyone always says this, and I don't understand the reasoning of it; the b-sides would still be brilliant. Let's say we put Listen Up on Definitely Maybe in place of Digsy's Dinner. That doesn't mean songs like Fade Away cease to exist, and Digsy's Dinner would no doubt find a comfortable new home as a hidden gem. Even the worst 90's Oasis album tracks would be celebrated if they were b-sides, and I guarantee that in an alternate universe where The Masterplan was saved for LP3, no-one is going "I don't know, I think it would have been better if that had been a b-side on the Wonderwall single." And if you're talking about the 2000's b-sides, then I just disagree. Those albums badly needed to not be wasting good songs and tracks like Idler's Dream or Let's All Make Believe should never, ever have been thrown off onto singles while tracks like Better Man and I Can See Liar got centre-stage on the albums.
