We all have very popular tunes, songs seens as classics that we don't like. Which ones would it be for you ?
My first choices are "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, "The Logical Song" by Supertramp (but pretty much everything else from them too) and "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" by Arctic Monkeys.

Anything by Queen.
Freddie is a great singer. The rest of it is rubbish.

Quick question: how can what has been listed in this thread be considered cult songs? Like all of them are really popular songs that everyone knows.

Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye. That's fuckin' rubbish of sounds that I don't understand. Boring as hell. Video is one of the worst ever - just kinda Neanderthals shit. How on Earth this was popular in mid-2010s?! Gotye himself looks like granny - that's not rock'n'roll-ish. Thank God Gotye is a one-hit piece of shit

Most rock n roll stars look like auld grannies. Roger Daltrey looks like a member of the Womenโs Institute himself, Ronnie Wood looks like he plays bingo every Thursday night and Mick Jagger ought to be advertising stairlifts the way he looks.

It was always pure out-and-out pop song, and it's a good one too.

Gotye is actually handsome guy. It seems that he really had a bad day when he was recording that video and now 99% of people will remember him from that video :-)

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here.
I just don't see the greatness everybody talks about. I think it's boring. That goes for a lot of songs from them actually.

Journey - Donโt Stop Believing
Iโve heard that itโs a song that even though you publicly dislike it for โstreet credโ, you secretly love it. Nope - it should give the most peace loving hippy the urge to go out and buy an AK-47. Hate it.

Quick question: how can what has been listed in this thread be considered cult songs? Like all of them are really popular songs that everyone knows. That was exactly what I was wondering. Cult and classics are quite the opposites.

Anything that's heavy rock as I'm just not into that kind of music. And, all Staus Quo songs sound the same to me.
