He was, supposedly, the least talented in the group.
He was a massive stoner who was having the time of his life.
He was more interested in cricket and Doctor Who (two of the worst things to come out of Britain since Harold Shipman and the Tories).
He, allegedly, was one of the worst when it came to bullying McCarroll out of the band.
He left Oasis by fax.
He came back after suffering nervous exhaustion.
He was supposedly the glue that kept them all together when the shit hit the fan.
But what I want to know, is do you think Guigsy was a twat?

I know hes portrayed that way in Tonys book. But i think if he really was that bad, heβd have been more outspoken against them when leaving, and weβd have heard more from him in the years that followed. As although he wasnt fired, he allegedly endured some stick about his limited musical abilities.
Ive always called him the John Deacon of Oasis, as both were quiet bassists who never wanted the glory or the fame.
The makers of Supersonic said he was βvery sweetβ when they discussed interviewing him, but he decided he didnt want to go back down that street. Which is fair enough.
So im gonna say Not One.

Everyone who likes Doctor Who is brilliant and incomprehensibly sexy.
Especially me.

I can see this one being a bit more of a close-run thing. Still along way to go to beat Noel, though. Vote closes tomorrow night...plenty of time!

Luckiest man in rock. Kind of annoying how ungrateful he was earning all that money through their talent and then leaving by ghosting the band. Mind you his calm egoless temperament they talk about was probably a good thing. Imagine an outspoken bass player with attitude, ego and charisma swagging about the stage next to Liam and Noel! It would of been too many cooks in the kitchen, wouldnβt of worked, theyβd of all split up before the first album was finished.

Imagine an outspoken bass player with attitude, ego and charisma Oh, he could muster up that attitude if he wanted to: He was too stoned to really care about any of that. Still, I think he's one of the more relatable members - just a bloke's bloke who picked up the bass guitar, learned to be efficient at it and turned that into a career, as shortlived as it was. Kinda like Stove King from Mansun. Not to mention, without Guigsy there wouldn't be Oasis. He's not a twat in my book.

It's time to post again the best Oasis picture of all time Haha that's brilliant, never seen it before. Guigs seems alright to me, I take my hat off to anyone who can go from being in one of the world's biggest bands and go to complete obscurity in no time.

16 hours left to vote. Guigs looks to be in the clear, for now. Your vote counts!

He will get a vote, but he isn't next. Supporting characters come after band members.

When a band member is referred to as "the glue", it's just a really, really polite way of saying they were the shit/boring one.

Anyone else prefer Andy Bell to Guigsy? That's where I stand. Bell appears to me to be the better musician even though he had to switch from guitar to bass to join the band.

A much better player, without question. But Guigs was quiet and didn't say much. Bell was a posh bellend who spoke utter, utter bollocks and wrote the worst song of all time.

I'm in between on this on one hand I think he's a bit of a twat but on the other he's a very lucky guy to have played in the best band ever. And, he's ok.

Problem is they were writing songs put on albums (nearly all of them pretty poor) which makes fans opinions of them lessen.
If they just had the Bonehead and Guigsy roles it wouldn't have been so bad.
