Guigsy's the worst bass player Oasis ever had and that's including Noel, shouldn't be an opinion
But both him and Bonehead were in it at the right time and were tight enough as a rhythm section to make it work

Yeah me. I've always thought that Andy Bell was better than Guigsy. Glad to see someone else agrees. I was starting to think I was the only one who prefers members from the second iteration. No it's not just you as I completely agree with you.

As I don't really know any of them personally, I prefer Guigs and Bonehead purely on the fact that they're from Manchester and that they're part of the golden era. Gem and Andy are probably nice and cool guys, but the original line up defined the Oasis spirit.

Gem and Andy are probably nice and cool guys, but the original line up defined the Oasis spirit. There were nights during the Andy/Gem years when the band were absolutely lethal and far superior to the original lineup; however, Liam’s vox were a problem for the majority of that iteration and it had a tendency to overshadow the rest of the band’s proficiency. Not saying LG was all bad. There are about a dozen pro-shot gigs after the SOTSOG era where he/the band were on fire.
