For me the day Heathen Chemistry leaked, in May (?) 2002, there was good stuff on this early version but it was the first cd where I felt the bad tunes (arguably) outnumbered the good, there was an "oh.. fuck" feeling, I did see them on the HC tour and they were mega and some of the mystifying, bland inclusions on record were total bangers live like BOADC.

Brit awards 2007, it was very painful to watch. They'd had worse performances the year prior. Nothing specially awful about that.

Late August 1999. When Bonehead and Guigs departed I knew the vibe had changed. The classic Oasis era was officially over. Never to return.

When I became fan and went to Wikipedia and saw that they don't longer exist as a band.

Fans were already aware about Liam's voice problems. But I remember reading the comments on the video, YouTube was just starting and for some people that was the first time they had seen an Oasis live performance in 10 years. Something similar happened with the Olympics performance, but the reaction to Brit Awards was way way worse.

I wasn't a fan until I discovered Oasis in 2014 but I would say when Bonehead left and took the wall of noise with him.

2002, when I bought Heathen Chemistry on release day in the US. I was terribly disappointed by that dull shite.

For me it was probably after the Heathen Chemistry tour after Alan left. He was a big part of the band and lived through the glory days of Oasis and the band usually follow the drummer when they are playing so he set the tone really. The band never sounded the same for me after that tour, whether it was because Liam’s voice sounded shot all the time or if it was down to Alan leaving. You felt in the Don’t Believe The Truth tour that the band wasn’t really as one anymore, it was rare you saw them all doing interviews together and on stage Noel just looked miserable most of the time. I was surprised they did another tour after that one.
