What's the dumbest oasis related thought you ever had.
Back in the late 90s when there was talk of a Noel Gallagher Solo career, I didn't like the sound of it because I envisioned it as him with a guitar and nothing else like his acoustic sets back in those days. Great for a concert, not great for a full album. I was younger then so pretty naive about what a solo album would actually look like and back then never would have imagined something as good or that sounded like Who Built the Moon?

That I could create a best of Oasis playlist on Spotify and stick to maybe 20 songs.
40+ songs later

I once thought that HC would be something resembling a good album

When I first downloaded a few tracks I thought Liam sounded different on SCYHO compared to wonderwall due to stylistic production choices. Not because his voice had declined 😳

When I began to get into the band, I thought that SCYHO was alright.

Liam and Noel would be happier if they re-formed Oasis.

I thought that Liam sang DLBIA when I just got into Oasis.

Early on I thought Noel sang Married with Children for a split second because it sounded so much different than any other vocal on DM.

I thought Rock N' Roll Star sucked on first listen. I also thought Columbia and Married With Children were tied for best song on DM, though I still kinda stand by that one.

That the band getting back together would be anything but very disappointing

That they weren't the best band ever.

That they are/were a soft, boring ballads band and not for me.

When I was a child I used to think Liam looked very cool on the Bittersweet Symphony video.

I thought Liam from The Hindu Times video and Liam from the Supersonic video were two different people

Before I properly listened to it, I thought Gas Panic! was utter shit.

I used to think the length of All Around the World was somehow justified.

I used to think the length of All Around the World was somehow justified. You should go back to thinking that.

Little By Little was their biggest song. Ok, we have a winner here Granted, it was around the time of its release when I was 11 years old and at an age when I was becoming conscious about popular music. But I suppose that’s no excuse!

I didn’t know, until this year, that Dot is a nickname for Dorothy.
I always just thought Noel randomly called a character in his song “Dot”. I would find this so amusing that every time I would hear that line about Dot being mad or not, I would always smile. Now the lyric is fucking ruined for me.
