The video seems to be "part one" for the upcoming release.... the guy must be brought to NG for a purpose. Personally I like the video.
First and foremost the song: can obviously hear some 80s influences, Kate Bush sample (?) and reminiscences of classic Depeche Mode remixes.

Listened 4/5 times. This is the electronic track I like the most from the EPs. I feel like its Noel's take on Queen's Radio Ga Ga but with a dark touch. Love the melodies, the groove, the lyrics and the production. I must say it felt like an intro. It takes half of the song until it explodes. But to me it pays off.

My favorite from the three singles. Such nice melody, well done Noel. Of course, I really miss a guitar doing anything relevant in this song, but I guess right now is about not using them.
Gotta say though, that clip pretty much had the entire song.... This. 100% In all honesty I didn't really expect much different. But it works (imo) |

Right, here's what I reckon for the EP playlist, then: 1. Come On Outside (surely can't open with anything else) 2. Black Star Dancing 3. This Is The Place 4. Rattling Rose 5. Blue Moon Rising 6. A Dream Is All I Need To Get By 7. Evil Flower 8. Wandering Star 9. Sail On Not to blow my own trumpet – albeit I am doing – but this tracklist works very well (of course, having to start at BSD as it stands until March 6). |

Fairplay to Noel for doing what he enjoys but yet again for me, there's hardly any melody there. It's sad that he's more interested these days in making it sound electronic/cosmic than having a great melody and chorus.

Actually I think your version might flow better than mine as RATTLING ROSE breaks up having three "dance" tracks in a row. I haven't slotted COME IN OUTSIDE anywhere yet but I wouldn't have thought of it as an opener - will wait and see what it sounds like. If it's similar to the demo I'd be more inclined to slot it in before EVIL FLOWER. |

It's okay. Not as good as TITP, on par with BSD for me.
