It's ok. The melody is actually quite good, but the music is too copy / paste 80s for me. Like there was absolutely no surprises.
I'll listen to it from time to time though.

He’s gone from acid house to deep house. I dig. X I started to wonder if Noel gonna built Hacienda in the backyard of his new house. With a huge disco ball.

It's ok so far.... I can hear hints of Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush.... but a lot faster...

Possibly my favourite out of the EP A sides. It doesn't quite live up to the potential of the chorus and it's a little bit too 80s retro sounding but it's pretty enjoyable. Ready for him to reopen his acoustic guitar case now though.

Gonna have to give it a few more listens but it’s all right. Not quite on par with BSD but certainly better than TITP.

Lovely stuff, really like it, wish it was longer.
The "makes me feel electric" bit is a highlight.

This is pretty good! Love how this slowly builds from disco restraint into something explosive. If there's one complaint I have it's that it's far too short. A song like this should be allowed to stretch its groove out for at least 5 minutes, and perhaps climax multiple times. Think like The Perfect Kiss. Not saying that Noel needs to release a song 9 minutes long, but I could've used a little more action from this one. As it is, it sounds like a radio edit. Still a good song tho, just wished its awesomeness lasted a little longer. Yeah, that's my thought. It ends really abruptly. It feels like it should go on for another minute at least.

It just sounds so similar melodically to lots of his recent stuff. Pretty inoffensive but I doubt I will listen to it again.

Nice tune that!
Not at all "BORING SNOOZER WILLOW THE WISP" as Liam's just called it on Twitter.

Nice tune that! Not at all "BORING SNOOZER WILLOW THE WISP" as Liam's just called it on Twitter. Yeh the boring thing now is Liam's obsession with what Noel's doing. Though, the comments from him still are very funny.

Right, here's what I reckon for the EP playlist, then:
1. Come On Outside (surely can't open with anything else) 2. Black Star Dancing 3. This Is The Place 4. Rattling Rose 5. Blue Moon Rising 6. A Dream Is All I Need To Get By 7. Evil Flower 8. Wandering Star 9. Sail On

My favorite from the three singles. Such nice melody, well done Noel. Of course, I really miss a guitar doing anything relevant in this song, but I guess right now is about not using them.
Gotta say though, that clip pretty much had the entire song....

Another shite NG video. I do quite like the song though. Looking forward to getting the EP now and finally hearing an official version of Come On Outside, fingers crossed it doesn't get the God Help Us All treatment.
