For me, the genius is how they were able to create Beatle magic out of a song that I would only rate as half-decent. Hearing all their voices come in the chorus sounds kind of messy but its magic for me.

Crazy how it sounds Oasisy/BDI-esque though, with every listen it gets stronger towards that.
Now and then should have been a bit less produced, more melancholic. Just piano and string, and light drums maybe.
Real Love / Free As a Bird, there cant be a winner, they are both very different. Its like choosing between one of your child. Cant be done.

It’s devoid of the magic that allowed the creation of their original works, in my opinion; bland and the patchwork is obvious. I’m of the personal belief that everything they released from Rubber Soul through Let It Be is genuine perfection, but it’s no surprise a different producer, AI technology and two 80+ year olds couldn’t replicate the wizardry.
