Just a question, whatever happened to the left-hand bowler for england 'alan mullaly'!! I always remember him as being an atrocious fielder and the crowd in australia always laughing at him for the reason. Did he lose form or something coz he was a pretty funny chap

Look mate, Mullally was a shocking fielder and one of the worst batsmen ever. He wasn't a great bowler ever. He just got in the team cos he was one of the best of a bad bunch of players as English cricket was awful in the 1990's. Now with Hoggard, Harmison, Jones and Flintoff there is no need for him to ever wear an england shirt in his lifetime.

Pig sick. But for a rained off day England would have deservedly wiped the floor with them. Dissapointing not to win any test that you've dominated, never mind one against them.
Ah well, it's the Aussies with all the problems going into the next test. All our batsmen are getting runs, all our bowlers are taking wickets - we're flying.

Yes they were lucky with the rain on day 3, but thats what u get for having a game of cricket in england. England deserved to win, they have the best team ive seen
