I'll take both of Noel's EPs over any album from Liam's solo and Beady Eye. Yes, we know. And Liam's album is rubbish. Nothing wrong with thinking that. But the way you and some other posters like to keep bringing it up is like you are the Coppertone dog constantly biting at our knickers. You and your fellow Liam fanboys can continuously talk shit about Noel, why can't I give my opinion on Liam's music as well? Just because I prefer Noel's solo stuff doesn't mean I hate Liam's music. |

I like the guitar riff,the rest of the song isnt my cup of tea. I'm just not a fan of this style of music, especially when the melodies are just not there and the songs seem to go nowhere.

Didn't quite like Evil Flower at first listen but it has grown on me. Noel is still experimenting with new sounds and styles on these EPs and I believe he will gradually find his feet with his new album. He'll be back with a bang next year!  |

Sounds like an inferior version of White Palms by BMRC.
Not especially shit, but not particularly good as well. Forgettable is probably how I would categorise it.

The same thing happens on this forum with Noel's music with people who prefer Liam's music as well, as you mentioned. It's not exclusive for either "team" or "fanboy". Posters don't like a song, album, or the specific brother's output as a whole *? Fine. No problem. Its allowed. State it, own it as to why other than "its shite". Then move on. Its not about disliking the music or having the opposite opinion. It's the scheduled "time to cram it down their throats again" post. This is not directed to one poster, this is to many posters on this board, Liam Fanboy, Noel Fanboy or someone who is a fan of both (is that allowed?  ). *Further to this, to those who haven't liked anything since DOYS or even BHN, that is your right. But like instead of wallowing about it over and over (mention it once, no problem), stick to your board where you enjoy the material. I don't know why someone would want to be somewhere that they don't enjoy the experience/content/material. Again there is no problem with stating one's view and opinions, its the repetition of "oh they didn't react the first time, better post it again" factor. |

I love this song. It's my favourite of the ones he's released this year. Musically it's just what I've been hoping for him to do since he went "experimental".
