I've listened to ayw and wmwn in the past few days and I still like them.
The biggest problem with wmwn is that it has no musical depth, it's all there on the surface, it's great on a first listen but after a while it might bore you. Ayw has more musical depth, take bold for example. It's well written and well produced, easily one of Liam's best song. I love how they took the "lay it on me" part into the last chorus for example.
Another problem with wmwn is that it sounds more like a playlist than like an album.
So I hope that with COYN they will work a little better, it should be an album with an identity, an album with a message and not a playlist.
Let's hope for the best.

As since 2017 his role has gotten increasingly bigger, from producing one track and co-writing a few on AYW, to producing about half WMWN and co-writing several other cuts. Then with AYDO, for the first time he produced a song he didn't write.
It seems he and Liam have established a rapport together; does that mean he'll man the boards alone for Cmon You Know?

Came here to say the same thing It wouldn't make me particularly happy (sorry, not a fan of Wyatt), but if it's indeed just a two-men partnership it's gonna be interesting to see what comes out of it and if that changes the dynamics |

I think he's a great songwriter but I'd rather have another producer tbh. He has done a good work on wmwn but as I've said before the production makes the songs great on a first album because it's all there on the surface but it gets a bit boring after a while. I've just listened to BE and i think this is the best produced gallagher-related album, it's really great. Sitek takes the songs to a whole new level. It would be interesting to see liam working with sitek again but I don't think it's going to happen. The most important thing would be to have one producer for all the songs, it would make the album more unified. |

I actually wouldn't mind if Wyatt does produce the whole album. Whoever produces it some people will never agree to it anyway as some will want Wyatt and some will want want someone else.

I don't like Sitek as a producer at all. I hope he never gets close to Liam again. I like Wyatt with no problems. So far my favorite producer as far as Gallaghers are concerned is Mark Spike Stent

Sitek is a great producer imo. BE had many faults, production wasn't one of them.
