Album title is atrocious. I don't think it's a title that draws people in.

Stupid question, but any mention about when the single will be out?

Album title is atrocious. I don't think it's a title that draws people in. Yes I know. Is it a completely new version or just some parts are added with LG now? Dumb question, I know

Liam Gallagher could have been a huge songwriter. Rant over for 2021! 😛 I was waiting for this precise rant

I saw Liam's comment on instagram, and this seems to be the inspiration for the cover Much more natural photo and prefer this depth. But, anyway, dig it or could do without it, it's totally clear now the COYK cover is not temp.

Album title is atrocious. I don't think it's a title that draws people in. I agree in that it's fucking awful but it's Liam Gallagher, that alone will draw people in

I think he's very happy with that label. His career is based on the nostalgia of the oasis and there is nothing wrong with it but if you want to be an artist, if you have something to say, you have to make something different Let him and the oasis fans enjoy the nostalgia I say. He loved being in oasis, was a big part of his life and it's kinda working well for him again and he's on form an seems happy with what he's doing. Not a "problem" at all 😜

Edit: triple post.
I kinda agree a bit though and maybe he could just do an EP with songs of a different ilk or direction, but who knows what's on this next album. Could well be different sounding

I miss the good old days when we fought over the merits of a song rather than album artwork or title.

Hope they get it out by summer 2021. I wonder if Liam really will stick to Come On You Know as its title? After 16 months....my question has been answered.

I like the concept of the cover but the execution is a bit amateur-looking. Don't like the font, and Liam is a bit lost in the crowd, which I suppose is the point, but I think it would have been better to have your eye more drawn to him. It reminded me of this fan-art for a Kanye album, but I think this pops even better: That's actually a very cool mock-up. But this has a totally different feel to me as a concept. It's just Kanye in the crowd, no biggie, no fanfare, just doing what everyone else is doing, even a little aloof. No one is mugging for the camera, There's also a little meta thing going on where presumably he's watching himself on stage. Find it more mysterious and intriguing. Anyway, to those who don't care about album covers, that's fine. But they are a form of identity for an album. Sometimes they are art, they're always a marketing tool, and the Grammys even give them an award. They've been debated since the album became a thing.

It reminded me of this fan-art for a Kanye album, but I think this pops even better: This is what I was hoping for, Liam lost in a bigger crowd. Those dude’s faces close-up are annoying me already. The general concept reminds me of the D'You Know What I Mean cover. That's the coolest Oasis album artwork ever I think.

I think what both that Kanye fan cover and the D'You Know What I Mean cover do so well is control the eye. You're magnetically attracted to Kanye with all those gazes directed towards him, you can't help but stare at the faces of Oasis standing out in the crowd, it feels charismatic because of the way they stand out, enigmatic and powerful.
Liam looks lost in his own cover. You have to do a game of Where's Wally for a second to find him.

Maybe it isn’t the best shot. I do like the font though as well. As with any band, all these things will fade away if the music is good 😂

The idea is good, the youthfulness is good (though, call this woke if you wanna, it is mainly boys), but the photo is meh and has a stagey feel. For me you don't need your eye drawn to Liam, but the photo should be interesting on its own.

As with any band, all these things will fade away if the music is good 😂 You like the font? I don't know, feels very cheap to me. Charity shop vibes. But like you said, it's all aesthetics at the end of the day. Liam is not the kind of artist to make a concept album where the cover is an important key to the mood - he'd be the first to say that it's all in the tunes. If we get more As You Were level tracks, and less of that Now That I've Found You nonsense, I'll promptly forget all about the artwork and celebrate the album like a fanboy.
