Best haircut he's had in ages. For me I would just love him to get a bit more sartorial in his style...ala Beady Eye days..not poncy just a bit sharper at the gigs. He looked blinding in many magazine shots and TV shows. I know its probably like putting on his comfortable in the zone gear...just would be great to see a wee bit more stylish Liam |

A little schedule info -- he also tweeted that Belfast will be his last gig of the year and it sounds like then it's back in the studio and getting ready to release the album.

But yeah, I totally have gotten that feeling hearing NGHFB come on randomly here. Just hearing DLBIA/Live Forever so much more now is even just wow because it’s like we’re in another world as non-UK fans. |

About the album cover. Like all Liam’s ideas it can be brilliant or very stupid, we will see. For now it’s just an idea. I hope if these pics looks bad and cheap Liam or his mgmt/label will bin them

Could quite easily be pictures for the booklet or sleeve and not the actual cover.
I'd rather you'd go a long way to be any less imaginative than the artwork for the first two albums though.

Criticism seems a strong word for what has gone by, but a bit of chit-chat is to be expected if people are saying "This is Liam's next album cover" all over social media. There was an image and the image was real so people responded to it. It's not like anybody made it up (as sometimes happens with song releases where the imagination runs amok ...) That's why a bit of mystery usually wins when it comes to this stuff. Better to sneak up on folks before they have a chance to talk it to death. But of course, he's not beholden to use any photos he takes and very well might not. And maybe this next show he'll tell the kiddos to put away their phones and keep a secret. |

Sure, but the album cover was once a legitimate art form of its own. It's definitely much less meaningful now that physical albums are less a thing, which is kinda sad if you're Old School. But it's still part of the "persona" of an albumand something that some people will feel strongly about. Nothing new there. |

I see what you're saying but in this case we did see something -- the photo of Liam with his arms outstretched in the screaming crowd--and it was said to be his next album cover. Like any Liam news, this had a good chance of being totally wrong (and now we've heard straight from the source himself that it's probably changing ), but not sure why that should be ignored in a discussion forum. No harm done that I can see. |
