Liam once was up there with the greatest and most beautiful clothes horses in all of rock history. Aside from health issues, I think he’s well aware that he doesn’t have a 25 year-old’s shape to hang it all on anymore...and he’s also taken up the 24/7/365 Parka Thing as part of his man of the people mantle. I adored his more eclectic clothing taste in the 90s and Noughties, but the same-same casualwear look he’s been wearing the last few years does match the more down to earth image that he came back with ... while managing to maintain a classic silhouette no matter what is happening underneath.

The wait for the 3rd album has been too long because we're still discussing previous albums and now his clothes in HYPE THREAD It's all part of the HYPE ...  (and all we have for now is 3-second clips of not-Liam and photos ... of jackets ...) But truly, I think many of us feel all we've done this last year is wait ... |

It doesn't matter what type of clothes Liam wears as long as he's happy wearing them who really cares? Just as long as he looks cool and tidy it's fine by me.

Well if he is going back only in october sounds like the result wasn't that satisfying. Wyatt and Kurstin have 3 months to find better melodies (or steal arrangements from Beatles / Harrison / Lennon records). I smell a rat.  |

He said they recorded about half the songs, back in October to record more songs. No one's jumping up and down to release a big album in 2021 with limited touring, so no need to hurry. He has the voice, so why not trying something really different? Soul, Funk, even disco ffs
His voice is mega and it's a bit wasted if he only sings pop rock songs
He shouldn't be afraid of evolving that's what music is about

But c'mon, you aren't even slightly intrigued by "different" ... Yeah i suppose the two sessions are from two different "songwriters", so that makes sense. One is not entirely ready. I dont want to be the old guy repeating himself over and over again, as people tend to dislike it over here. I enjoyed Liam's records, but since they came out i hardly listened to them. Cant remember the last time i heard one of his songs. They are ok, but sound a bit fake. I will probably enjoy the "different" one for about a week or so then move on. |

Of course it was a provocation but I really hope it'll be different Even something like that cover of bless you, it sounds amazing and it's different He has one of the best voice in the music business but he needs to use it exploring new music, we already got shockwave so what's the point of shockwave 2.0? It didn't age well tbh Andrew Wyatt is a talented guy who wrote lots of different music so he would be very helpful to liam if liam really wants to evolve as an artist but honestly I don't think it's going to happen, I can't see him stepping out his comfort zone and taking some risks. |
