Richard Ashcroft is ok but I don't think I really want him to do something with Liam. I would sooner Liam stuck with what he's doing now with his army of songwriters.

If the new single is out before the end of the year then hopefully it won't be too long before we hear it as we're already into the final two weeks of October now. So there's only a couple of full months left of this year. |

Ashcroft's a fantastic vocalist, I would love to hear him sing on a track with Liam.
Just as long as he doesn't write it and it's not a semi-acoustic Urban-Hymns-lite piece of shite.

Yeah the idea of Richard writing something for Liam doesn't really excite me, he's way past his prime at this point and I feel like it would also sound a bit out of place the way Liam's records are constructed these days with the Warner songwriters and all, but I wouldn't mind them singing something together
It would be a safe collaboration and not something I would look forward to in 2020, but I guess at least it'd sound genuine
