I wonder what the quality of the tape is. Is it a true soundboard or does it sound like a low grade
Taper? I would hate to drop all that money and then it’s low low quality.

I'd still own the original tape and a quality rip. Why not releasing a basic mp3 to the fandom? We're not talking about a long-lost unreleased Beatles album. It's a half-finished song from a soundcheck, most fans won't even care or know about it. But the main thing is... I can't justify spending 2.5k on a tape right now and I'll never have the opportunity to acquire something rare or unreleased. I agree about the fact that we can wave goodbye to it. It will probably end up in some secret barn in Texas or whatever. I hope we're both wrong though... |

Guys the seller knows Oasis inside out, it's not Angel Child or any other heard song. It's unreleased.

Maybe the buyer could get some money back by releasing the mp3 rip. Let's say he set a price of 1k, fans contribute and he gets to keep the tape.

It won't happen, if anything get's released from that tape it then becomes pretty much worthless doesn't it If the winner is loaded and money is no object to them then it's a possibility |

Side note, did anyone bother looking at the other Oasis memorabilia on there? A copy of the Shakermaker single signed by every band member (1994) had no takers the last time I checked.

He was then gonna give us more song detail then didn’t. It’s always something. Why come share this potential with the forum and then run and hide. Then later sell it. I have no issue with sellers and buyers. All the power to them. Just don’t toy with the forum. Lot of good people here. Real deal fans. Show class and respect. |

He's a decent guy, and not a conman. It's no doubt a shame that these tapes are squirrelled away meaning that the vast majority of fans don't get too hear the songs. However with the value in Oasis collectables and unreleased songs it's completely understandable why these things are not public. It's a shame that the forum didn't mobilise and collectively buy it. Lennon2217 Maybe next time you should lead the fund raising for the next tape, for the collective good? |

Others have done it extremely well on this forum. I’ve always contributed when such drives materialize. Again I have no issue with collectors who buy or sell and keep it to themselves. All the power to them. Just don’t tease the forum with promises we all know will be broken. I’ve seen it so many times on this forum. Got something cool and exclusive? Keep it to yourself. |

There is another angle. It may have been bought by Noel's camp to be released or reworked for future? A stretch I know but possible and plenty money there.
