Could it be, lawyers from the Oasis camp got in contact with him? I think he genuinely was willing to share it with us, but maybe other collectors with whom he trades didn't like the idea. |

I absolutely hate dicks like that (the other guys who didn't want it shared)
I just don't see the point in collecting things like that to hoard them.
Their argument will probably be that they paid a lot for the stuff, well start a fund and we will all pay you for it, simple. They are just pricks who hoard things so they can sell it on for a higher price further down the line. Scumbags imo

Just remember........when you least expect it this forum will surprise you with golden nuggets. Not saying anything is in the works and I’d be out of that inner circle anyways but we’ve all gotten our fair share of amazing unheard material dropped in our laps for nothing and more importantly at random.

And that trend would continue from HC to DOYS. Song hardly mentioned ever again save once in 2006. If "Slow" was THAT good I think Noel would've released it on a subsequent album, particularly on SOTSOG as he faced writer's block during that era. He wouldn't sit on a masterpiece if he was struggling to write new tunes. The two unreleased songs on the BHN reissue weren't much cop, 2 leftovers from the SOTSOG sessions were later released as b-sides or so ("Just getting older" & "Revolution song"), he went as far as to dig up the much older "Lock all the doors" yet still no sign of "Slow"... Chances are very slim that "Slow" is Noel's "Blind Willie McTell". |

Also this part on his post which pretty muchs confirms it: I deleted the posts as it wasnt deemed appropriate by someone. I wont say who I'm afraid. I kind of regret starting this thread and getting you all hyped about it, but I thought at the time it could worth a try. |

Hi all Really sorry for the radio silence on this. As mentioned above I work full time with a family... but more importantly dont have a Dat player or someone local with one.. or at least I didnt. I do now and im converting it on Friday next week. I didnt want to send it away as you'll appreciate. I am a fan, LIAM calm down mate haha no bluff. It was quite a repetitive song but please understand that night I was pretty drunk and certainly did record a lot on my phone but annoyingly not this song. The recordings are great if you can delete me and Owen talkin bollocks over them all. Not ideal and all video format so hige files. I heard this tape first and knew it was a long full tape. So we did the other 3 that youve seen pictured first. There isn't much of any worth on two of them (bsides is one song for example). By the time we got back to this one we were drunk and decided to come back to it.. then the Dat player packed in. Couldnt write it. Had a cracking couple of chats with Owen, heard amazing stories too. Hes a class act, genuine funny fella with a great history. Hoping to keep in touch. Check my Instagram out, I'm well into this and will share it lads dont worry, even if its something ive not heard... you may have. Ps: i did make a custom sleeve for liams singles, just for myself tbh, not for sale. Liams management saw it and shared/used the image. Followets went from 1.5k to 8k in 2 days... comedy. Leave it with me for now. Hopefully 1 week we'll have a song to hear! Great news is that Fackd played the tunes last night at the Tony McCarroll meet up. Neither of the songs appear to have merged into anything Noel has released since. Both had Noel on vocals, one had some cheesy lines in it. Also, Full On was played in the soundcheck and it sounded really good. Maybe NG should revisit this for London next year. |
