It's a solid 7 from me.
Best thing about it: I LOVE the way it starts. The vocal melody is just great in the first verse. The bass line is powerful during the whole song, it creates a really good vibe with only a few notes.
Worst thing about it: It starts great but by the end of it I've lost interest, I think it lacks a bit of variation to keep it really interesting.
But yeah, I didn't expect it to be this good. For me: Fort Knox + New Order + Chemical Brothers = TITP
If he ever releases these EPs compiled as an album I bet this will be the opener.

I really like this song, and I think its the best of the 4 we've heard. But I do agree, after the first minute, it loses the power it had in the first minute. The song really grabs you off the bat.

Fantano thinks it's awful. I'm not a big Fantano fan. His criticism and him as a person is ummm... problematic.

Is there something I should know about him as a person? I've seen him guest on a podcast I watch, he seemed down to earth.

Fantano thinks it's awful. I'm not a big Fantano fan. His criticism and him as a person is ummm... problematic. He’s just an online personality that built his image into a brand and career. He admits he listens to way too much music to give fair shakes. Also whenever I hear him talk I just hear a fog horn.

This might be the most lopsided Gallagher related (including Oasis) poll results.
The poll currently has a slim majority of poor results (6 and below), apart from the biggest spike at 8/10, which makes it difficult to draw a substantiative conclusion. I’m personally sticking with 5/10 right now.

Finally had a chance to listen to this one in lossless, and by god, all those who were saying that this tune massively improves when you listen to it in great quality were 100% spot on. Even if the mix isn't quite Holmes brilliance, there's so much going on in here that is lost when you listen to the shitty stream on Youtube. And I'm gonna guess that all of those who keep complaining about the lack of melody on this one have never heard of dub music. Forget about the melody, just lose yourself in the sound and space!

I love when people make assumptions about people based on nothing.
As for this song, it would probably be better if it didn't feature Noel Gallagher.

I find the anger people have towards Fantano pretty funny, it almost always coincides with a negative review of someone they like. I disagree with him often (this song, his mediocre review of 22 A Million, his infamous 6/10 to the best album of the decade), but he's a good critic who covers all genres, explains his full reviews with eloquence, and always gives his honest opinion. Plus, he's given positive reviews to Liam's solo career, said he thinks it's stupid when people say Oasis were just Beatles rip-offs, and praised Noel's first couple of solo albums too. If you're one of those "why is music criticism even a job?" people, then it's best to ignore him. But if you like getting other people's perspective on new music as it comes out, Fantano is one of the best.
(Also, if you're into rap music and like getting good reviews, make sure to check out Dead End Hip-Hop on YouTube, featuring the brilliant Myke C-Town. Their reviews are always interesting.)

I don't really disagree with his opinion on Noel's latest so it wasn't that. Just found his voice and style like nails down a chalkboard. Had to switch it off after a couple of minutes. I might of enjoyed reading his reviews but I couldn't listen to that for long.

I do think it's well worth subscribing to him if you're a music fan, though, if only for the weekly track round-ups and almost daily album reviews, which can turn you onto a lot of new music you wouldn't otherwise hear about. Case in point, I only discovered this cool new track a couple of weeks ago because of Fantano:
