Isn't he touring the US with The Who in October? I mean for moi 😊 What were your views on the crowd IGF? It just seemed so subdued, even for Glasto.

Hearing The River live really sold me on it.

I thought it sounded great on TV. Think Liam was off his rocker but Inna good way. Crowd looked great for the Oasis songs, it's been extremely hot at Glastonbury so that has to have some impact on the crowd. Missed the drums on bold. Agreed he should have played all I need or come back to me or even better run instead of universal gleam. Maybe shake up the start of the setlist, but that's only because I know it all and am a big fan. Also should have played a longer version on cs at the end. Good gig though, maybe not quite as good as 2017 but I was there 😉

The River (bad quality, wrong title) Is that Bonehead at 51 seconds?

I’ll try to find out why Cast No Shadow was abandoned. Also, find out if my neighbor's are growing marijuana in their house, I have my suspicions.... Thanks.

Universal Gleam has been drab from the get go. Get rid of it! I really like it. And I thought the viola and horns were nicely arranged. Having said that, it doesn’t make a lot of sense sung in that way. To do it justice Liam should give it the softer touch of the recording, but that won’t happen.

What were your views on the crowd IGF? It just seemed so subdued, even for Glasto. Not many were there specifically to see Liam, but I guess that’s inevitable when tickets are sold before artists are announced. I think most of the people around me only knew Wonderwall, Cigs and Alcohol etc. They were up for it in their own way, and seemed to enjoy it but definitely weren’t invested in his performance. The heat maybe had an impact, I can imagine how draining it must be if they’ve been roaming around in it for a few days. There were, of course, a few Oasis fans knocking around. What I did notice, which I thought was odd, were people in Oasis Tshirt’s who didn’t have a clue what most of the songs were. Not so much of the norty stuff kicking around either, was heavy on the sniffer dogs, this probably affected their mood if they’re usually into that shit. For me though, I really enjoyed it. Went in, gave it sum, and left. In and out of there, in and out. What happened with Fuckin/RnRStar? Didn’t quite grasp what happened there. Was it clearer on tv??

very different performance to 2017. vocals more tired? yes. but also more confident, snarly and more classic Liam attitude? yes.
highlights for me:
roll with it shockwave slide away
really pleased at how great shockwave sounds live, much better than anything off As You Were!
Only watched up to Wonderwall so haven't seen it all... but agree that Bold and Universal Gleam (and maybe even For What It's Worth) should be removed in time. I would have loved to have heard Supersonic, Some Might Say, D'You Know What I Mean, Stand By Me.... but hey, I'm an Oasis fan.
I think his Why Me? Why Not album songs are going to suit the live set list much better than his As You Were album songs do.
Liam really does sound much better on the Oasis songs...they just suit him better and the musicianship feels a step up too. Only Shockwave stands up to it IMO

dodgy jacket dodgy haircut but he looks like he's enjoying it and in 2015 this seemed an impossible dream, not complaining or wanting perfection
did liam do a collab with killers in the end or no?

yeah you're right actually that's true. i'm half concentrating here because i'm watching lost haha, i'm off my game Universal Gleam on the other hand... I've always had time for the hippie vibes on that song but I realise i'm one of the few and I didn't hear him sing it from tonight's performance yet... the one that has always annoyed me is Bold. I've always considered it over-rated and i heard a few seconds of it tonight and hit fast forward instantly, think the few seconds i heard may have been totally sung at the wrong timing? It wasn't pretty. But who cares, you don't remember the fillers, you remember the euphoria of the highs, and liam delivers exciting thrilling high jump and scream and sing moments.. those are memorable at the end of any night. Supersonic deserved to be in there for the singalong RIP to the true extended ending of slide away too... I miss it And to the electric version of the closing song Shaking up the first half of the set list would be great, but we won't get everything we want haha, this is real life
