Both very similar punkish sound. People on here are overly zealous of FLW, though. Which is the better opener?
Wall of Glass, easy.

Four Letter Word!!! I’d love to have heard it with the huge Oasis stadium wall of sound. Wall of Glass has never done anything for me, one of my least favourite on As You Were.

Four Letter Word all day. Wall Of Glass is a good tune mind while it’s a song i’m not a big fan of.

I have no idea if Four Letter Word was around in the Oasis days (so many varying reports) but if Noel passed on it shame on him.

FLW. Wall of Glass have better lyrics and backround vocals tho. But Nothing ever last forever is better than you'll shatter like a wall of Glass, wall of Glass.
Also is wall of Glass about Windows(?)

Glass: somehow Liam manages to make a sour one-syllable word into a sweet three-syllable melody

Four Letter Word. Should have been the first single off that album too instead of Bring The Light.

Tough one, I guess Wall Of Glass for sentimental reasons as it started the ball rolling on a pretty miraculous comeback. FLW was one of the Beady Eye songs good enough for Oasis and great live. I wish he would bring it back for the odd gig here and there.

Both are great tunes, but has to be Four Letter Word for me. It's the toned down equivalent of Morning Glory. You can feel the 'attitude' in the chorus.

Really had to think about this one for a little while. In the end I went for FLW. Both good tunes But I think FLW just edges it.

Never really cared for the chorus in Wall Of Glass, a bit too poppy imo. Four Letter Word on the other hand is unfiltered and uncompromised rock'n'roll all the way through.

Four Letter Word. Should have been the first single off that album too instead of Bring The Light. I see what you are saying, but then the general feeling would have been that they sounded exactly like Oasis, so they would have been criticized for that. Bring the Light dared to be different. The world wasn't ready for an out and out rock and roll tune from Liam. Funny how a few years can change things though, because that's what everyone wanted by the time Wall Of Glass rocked round. Four Letter Word, no question for me.

Wall Of Glass for me - everything about 2017 for me is very, very special and the best Oasis year for me since 1997 (or maybe 2000).

Four Letter Word.
Their first Amsterdam gig in March 2011 started with this song. The venue was packed and they were on fire. I was happy to be one of 1500 audiences at that night. Miles Kane supported them and my English friend and I were very impressed by him.

Shocked by how close this is. Wall of Glass is so modern, makes Four Letter Word seem stuffy to me.

Wall of Glass is bass-y and sleek and sexy, Four Letter Word sounds stuffy in comparison. Honestly, Wall of Glass is just the perfect solo Liam Gallagher song to me; concise, catchy, modern, rock 'n' roll. Couldn't have hit the ground running better.
