I recently bumped up a thread containing DGSS tracks ranks and thoughts. Go have a read. This place ate that shit up in February 2011. Link? Edit: never mind, found it 😁 I bumped it. This one was good but I think there was a second more detailed one. I remember doing a review as well but it’s not in the one I bumped. I’ll keep looking/digging.

Quite liking how we’re getting drip fed tunes over this year like tapas instead of one big ploughman’s sandwich of an album. Makes a nice change. X See if you still feel that way when you've paid £36 for less than an album of material People pay for music!? X

WBTM had 9 actual songs. 3eps could well mean more than that. Heck, 3 eps could total to 12 songs, which is more than any Oasis-related album bar AYW. I only wish they were more like true EPs (5-6 songs) and not like old school singles (2-3 songs plus remixes). Either way its a win for all of us. Yeh agreed

Mark my words. I've not got one picture disk/record. I don't have a record player. I'm not really into looking through all the stuff anyway. I'm 24. I've grown up with having music digitally. I have no need for a picture disk. But that wasn't my point.

I need the studio version. The quality of these recordings are awful.
It sounds very plodding here, I'm sure the studio version will help us pick up more subtle but brilliant sounds. Different and new is good, but I'm also not ready to slap the "plodding + different > plodding + another acoustic guitar generic riff" tag on it.

She Taught Me How to Fly sounded flat from the live performances but the studio version is damn good and one of the best on the album with some strong new wave/New Order/Blondie vibes, so it's worth it to take the fan-recorded video(s) of it with a huge grain of salt.

Well if in those videos the quality is shite but I dig the choone,I can't imagine how much I'm going to love it when the studio version comes out. Also there's a bridge that ripps the shit off Christopher Cross's Ride Like The Wind
