looks like noel added little by little to the setlist after the camden show... cheers noel His Camden set was about 56 min. Guess he realized he could sneak another song in. Shame he didn’t do it sooner! I'm guessing just like the first song, the first gig is Noel's setlist warmup...75% effort and all . All joking aside, its a bummer when he changes the set list only a gig or two into the tour. You would think as much as they have been touring over the last two years he would have a pretty good idea of how to fit it into the time allotted. Perhaps he saw the crowd reaction and decided he needed another Oasis song to balance it out.

Tbh I was never a huge fan of the Pumpkins but when I saw Noel was touring with them I checked out a few albums and dang they are pretty amazing. Thanks Noel for introducing me to them.

Very smooth and they were having a great time. Noel was excellent tonight. Not my choice of a set list but it was great to see BSD and TITP love, they sound great. SCYHO was fantastic. Noel fans were greatly outnumbered by Pumpkins fans though. Like 10-1 in my section.

had a lot of fun at the show tonight! This Is The Place sounds great live, and I was glad he played SCYHO too. I wasn't really a fan of the entire set though, everything was from WBTM also wished he dropped All You Need Is Love for a song that was actually his, but overall it was enjoyable!

Great set from Noel! Security took my camera though 🙄 managed to get a few shots first 😉
Off to DTE Energy Center in MI tonight for round two! Fingers crossed for no camera hassles...
PS I spent a lot of Little By Little on the big screen singing my face off last night. Long enough ppl were PMing me on Facebook 😂

I haven’t seen that done in 15-20 years. Can’t fight the tide.

I'll be at the Detroit show tonight. Decided to only buy the lawn seats as I've seen Noel several times and he'll only play 12 songs.
The last time he was in Detroit was his tour opener last year and he was on absolute fire -- best I've ever seen him. Hoping for a repeat as far as his energy level & interaction with the crowd.

Will be at the Chicago show tonight: The Homecoming gig for the Pumpkins. Hopefully they'll have something extra for us.
This will be my 5th time seeing him live. Last time, at the Chicago theater, he was fantastic. It's gonna be hard for him to top that one for me.
The capacity for Chicago Theater is 3,600 The capacity for Tinley Park is 28,000. If only half that amount is present while he's playing, then it'll be a pretty good night for Noel.

I'm glad he's doing this second swing through the U.S. so I have a chance at at least getting close enough to tell which band member is which.

I know the pumpkins are seen as a bloated rock joke and billy has a ton of baggage but man this band still rocks live. So so loud. They shred on the guitars. Everything at 11. Oh yeah, Noel and the birds play a real tight set. Watch Noel’s face. Dude is constantly smiling and enjoying it all. Rare to see him like that. Enjoy.

Noel was pretty amazing last night. That band sounded super tight.
In fact, I think they had a better set than the Smashing Pumpkins last night, whose set list was oddly paced.

Was underwhelmed by his performance yesterday. Don't like the way he plays DLBIA at the moment. I don't mind the acoustic version, but he's changing the vocal melody in a way I don't think fits the song. Little By Little was the only song I felt actually had any energy. The crowd was very clearly there for Smashing Pumpkins, and even then was only like 60% full...

I also really wish he wouldn't have such a segmented setlist. It really sucked to wait 40 minutes to hear anything but newer material. I think new and old should be mixed in so that doesn't happen. There was no energy in the crowd at all, and I don't think this helped. Also wish some of the songs were from NGHFB or CY.

I did like their Fire and Rain cover. They have so many songs that could easily end their shows (Today, 1979, Bullet, Tonight Tonight) but aren’t Place anywhere near those slots. Instead going for a deep cut off Machina and a b-side from 25 years ago. Either way I enjoyed it.

I would agree, I was underwhelmed by the Pumpkins...the hits didn't pack that much "punch" in my opinion. Disarm and to a lesser extent Cherub Rock were the exceptions. Other than that too much loud screeching guitars. Thought the HFB were tight and as has been mentioned all the time, they appear to really be having fun playing together. Brought a friend who knew little of either band and he was impressed far more by the HFB, thinking the only song they mailed in was Wonderwall. I get why some are upset by the setlist, but no complaints from me. I like the new interpretation of Oasis classics on each tour, and really like SCYHO, a song I never thought I'd hear live again.. Looking forward to the rest of EP2 and Ep3 and the next show back in Chicago when Noel "has more shit to sell us" or however he phrased it last night! He will be happy , I bought a shirt :-)

Got a front row, Section 203 seat, on the aisle, from TicketBastard today for the Merriweather show tomorrow...was $49 face, $60 with all fees. Not bad. I don’t think this demand pricing model TB is trying is fair, but oh well.
Gonna be hot, but I’m up for it. I didn’t want to go to NG’s Feb 2018 show @ the Anthem in DC...but I’m glad he did. The whole band aspect of it is so much better than the first two tours.
My only concern is being told to sit down by Pumpkin fans. I’m sure it’ll be alright. I forecast myself arriving after AFI and making it to the Pumpkins encore.

Plus, I thought they played too many of their hits too early. There were a few lulls for me. My friend is a massive Pumpkins fan. He saw them on their last tour, and he was just like, "Yea, they were a lot better the last time I saw them."

This is why, even though Liam opening with RNRS and MG has pissed some people off, at least he opens with two song every single person in that room recognises. It's an immediate boost to proceedings. THEN you can get away with playing some new material. With a support slot like this, Noel really should be focusing on crowd-pleasers, otherwise what's the point?
