Premier League 2018/19 kicks off in two weeks. Here's this season's official thread.
You will come here for official stories, gossip, transfer news. For the laughs and the sobs. For the triumphs, the travesties, and controversies. And ultimitaely for the proper Bantz, innit.
I cannot wait for yet another installment of the best, most engaging drama there is. It's good to be back.

It's a little disappointing that I won't need to put Arsené Wenger jacket zipper gifs in this thread....
Merci.

Just one more weekend without football.
This past World Cup has really been a great appetizer. Can't wait for the Prem to be back.

In case you didn’t know, Mourinho, you’re getting sacked in the morning.

Before Mourihno went in to total meltdown in the press conference I thought he summed up the media quite well, should have said it last season though.

I think it's now fair to say that the dominant era of Man Utd is most certainly over now. Moyes, LVG, and Mourinho are all failures in terms of continuing SAF's legacy.
Likewise, Chelsea's dominance looks over too - irrespective of their good start to this season (in fairness, they've had all easy matches bar Arsenal). Fuck Chelsea.
Man City should dominate for years, with only Liverpool being able to challenge.

Think Liverpool will win the title this year. Unstoppable front 3 and have signed better players for their weakest areas (GK, CM and will have VVD for the whole season this year as well). City will obviously be right up there as well but it’s been notoriously difficult to retain the title in recent times.

City will obviously be right up there as well but it’s been notoriously difficult to retain the title in recent times. Dip in now and then, but Chelsea look good. Easy to forget, most of these players are champions only two years ago and if all goes according to plan should be challenging City (favourites I believe). Liverpool are good but still lack depth in some areas.

Remmeber when Chelsea and Man Utd fans argued who was better, Drogba or Rooney? Now they argue who is more shit, Morata or Lukaku? 😂😂😂

Jon Moss gave United that game even though they were playing well, Gana was clearly on the ball and Smalling should have been sent off for that late penalty.

I still can't quite figure out how he won the Premier League. And I also can't quite figure out if Leicester winning the league cheapened the competition - in the sense that if Leicester can win the league then anyone can?

I absolutely hate international breaks. They should not exist. But then again, we get spoiled with football every December, which I guess more than makes up for the breaks.
Speaking of breaks, the PL will have a winter break from next season onwards. Bang out of order.
