As objective and as unbiased as you can - which is better?
For me, it’s got to be Roll With It.
I like Country House, but the bridge of “Blow me out, I’m so sad...” ruins the track for me.
Neither are the bands’ best efforts, but Roll With It atleast has attitude.

One is a snarky comment on the upper classes. The other an affirmation for the working class. So I guess it depends on your attitude, glass half empty or half full. Roll with it all the way for me

Can't pick one to be honest, both songs are good pop tunes but not perfect, & not the best songs on either "Morning glory" or "The great escape" ("The universal" is better).
I like listening to both of them every now & again.

Always found Roll With It a bit bland and boring, Country House is more catchy to me and has more clever lyrics.

Always found Roll With It a bit bland and boring, Country House is more catchy to me and has more clever lyrics. Yep, I pretty much agree with all of this. Hard to believe that in the ‘Battle of Britpop’, this Oasis song has to represent the band. Okay it wasn’t intentional as Blur shifted their release date to coincide, but as a result it inadvertently became one of the most well known Oasis tunes when it wasn’t that good. Country House is a miles better song, although if it’s a question of buying which single, then you’d have to say Oasis. Simply because Rockin Chair puts both songs to shame with its quality.

Both are quite rubbish actually and not even in either bands top 50 songs,
Roll With It just shades it for me but only because Country House is bloody whimsical nonsense and not in a Bungalow Bill endearing way

Roll With It is the weakest song on WTSMG. It's catchy but that's pretty much it.

I have a soft spot for Roll With It. WTSMG wouldn't be the same without it.

I dislike CH, but I like the XTC vibes about it.
As for RWI, ok-ish tune that shouldn't have been a single, but I must say that the chorus briefly takes the song to Everest mountain top.

Roll With It vs. Sparky's Dream would have been a better game.

I like Country House but I love Roll With It. Besides that fact that I like Blur and love Oasis, I've also had the advantage of hearing countless live versions of Roll with It, which really makes the tune come alive and has undoubtedly influenced by feelings towards RWI over the last 20 odd years. I've not heard CH live, so I can't compare them in that way.

Behave. Hey Now is a dreary mess. Behave. Hey Now > any NGHFB/BE/LG song. Hey Now is also superior to 90% of all songs released under the Oasis name afterwards. Between 94-97, there wasn’t anything close to an average Oasis song.
