Just finished watching. It was good but I was expecting a little more live stuff, ‘Bold’ from Glastonbury maybe? A little more would’ve been nice. Also no ‘For What It’s Worth’ either. It was a little dragged out too to be honest but it has its moments.

Thanks! Never knew that. Very depressing During Liam's appearance on Howard Stern he said Paul and Noel didn't get on, that was back in 2017. "[Paul] didn't clap loud enough at one of his gigs"
That's the one I was trying to remember earlier!

Someone recently asked him on Instagram what his relationship with Noel is. He replied "we don't have one. Simple as that" Thanks! Never knew that. Very depressing It is isnt it. But also not that surprising either. I can see that Paul's always looked closer to Liam and even being a bit close is gonna be enough for Noel not to want anything to do with either of them. I actually think alot of what Liam says has actually been said by Paul and that's what infuriates Noel even more.

It was a little dragged out too to be honest but it has its moments. It certainly was dragged out too much after a very entertaining segment about Liam needing the money etc after his divorce. All that bit was perfectly paced but after that all that bit about his voice packing up was so unnecessary. Then it sort of stuttered along until the once part. It was decent but certainly not amazing. And certainly not as bad as some of the toffs at the observer are making out.

More live audio and Finsbury / Lccc all seem like a weird miss. But I enjoyed it. Insightful

I guess the problem with reviews is what does the person think of Liam to start with?
I mean if you asked me to review a documentary on ed sheeran, Im probably going to go in with the mindset that its probably going to be shite before the opening credits even come up because I don't care about him.
a film like this is going to be interesting to dedicated fans at the end of the day, even the casual fans arnt really going to care.

So I've All I Need as around during the BE tour... Yeah I found that very surprising. Think the footage was backstage at the Olympics so it was around before they even went in to record BE. Crazy that they didn't use it. Tbf Liam might just not have thought it was ready. Remember Noel saying that if they hadn't just lobbed Little James on SOTSOG it would never have got on. And how Liam used to ask if Songbird was 'too long'. Can imagine Liam being very particular about wanting something to be just right. The clips from the studio prove it tbf.

So weird. Paul's no angel, like. He's probably as arrogant as the other two put together. Him and Noel were still on good enough terms for him to be his tour DJ back at the start of 2015, IIRC.

What are the extras like on the DVD/ blu ray then? I've not had a chance to pick it up yet. The full performance of I Get By at Abbey Road. Another story from Paul and another story from Liam. One clip on Peggie's upbringing and then another one or two I can't remember. Haven't watched any of them yet though.

It was ok. I agree with reviews that fans will enjoy it enough but there really isnt anything noteworthy for the masses. 2.5/5

The impression I got from Paul's bits of the film was that he felt that Noel should've prioritised family ties over everything that came before when Liam started circling the drain.

5 mins into the film and well, what a way to manipulate history.
I guess that's what his "fans" expect, blaming it all on Noel, quietly putting on aside his 20 years of excess and shit behavior (maybe later in the film ?). How easy. For me, it'll still be 50/50.
many thanx to Thomas, the uploader.

In a world driven by Fake News, I guess they had to try it. The bigger the lie the better. Dont think for a second your opinion is the only opinion. Many people want to be Noel, more than you think.

20 minutes to finish it off,but I had to go to bed. To be honest the film is about throwing shit to Noel. It's quite disgusting honestly. The first part of the movie was great, because they showed how Liam struggled after Beady Eye,and I've never seen him in that human way before. But the way they told the story is unfair. I understand they were angry because of Noel threatening them with reclaming the rights of the Oasis songs. But what a shit film honestly. It shines when they show Liam as a human being,in the car with his sons, the scenes before doing a gig with Debs,Liam speaking with Pegster...etc. But the rest? Pure fucking rubbish.

The bigger the lie the better. hahaha I think about the second opinion, mate. Peace and Love. I loved Noel and wanted to be him all my childhood, only because I'll never be cool as fuck as Liam is. I admire him for this, the same way I admire Noel for his songwriting and I choose his talent to be my influence by then. But... definitely I (thinking me as a Child) am no longer wanting to be Noel, not his current version, I don't want to get older like him. The glory; that glory of the old goldie times, I think is greatest, bigger and longer for people like Liam, it's the face of the success of Oasis... It's the quickest way to get shocked by a band for many poeple; this kind of frontman attitude. hard to not recognize that. Flashes, luxury, drugs abuse, partying, etc. All that old fashioned Rock 'N' Roll is the kind of things to dream about with, and they are much more Liam stuff. Keith Richards stuff, Neil Young... being Maradona and winning the World Cup. And -the most important thing- I think, AIW is kind of redemption and showing another face of this bad guy. A real and valid one, that doesn't pretend to bury the other one. That's all. He is still that bad guy, he still thinks Noel is nothing without him... who cares? It's no fake news, it's the side of the road of somebody who is what he is.
