I'll definitely pick this up on DVD, I saw Supersonic via Amazon prime but this would be an automatic purchase this time around.

My fear is it will be totally one-sided fan-bait, not a real documentary. Supersonic was great because it delved deep and offered a number of perspectives. I’m anticipating this will be far more shallow. Hope I’m wrong. |

But that doesn't mean it won't be good. |

Liam's not a victim. His downward spiral was his own undoing. I hope the doc tells that story, not the story where Noel and lawyers screwed him.

I'd rather see much less about his personal situations that have been covered in interviews over the last 12 months about more about the making of the album and the tour he's been on. |

I’m a seriously over the moon by this. I honestly believe this is one of the best come backs in rock ‘n’ roll history and deserves it, didn’t think it was ever going to happen but I’m so glad it did and Charlie lightening’s photography of Liam is outstanding and his resume is amazing so it’ll be incredible.
Do we know if it’ll be shown at this cann festival...?

If they're going to show it at Cannes NEXT YEAR then it doesn't make sense to announce it this early.
And especially so close to this year's Cannes.
They'll probably screen it there next week and release it to the public after Finsbury.

It just means that producers are shopping around the work-in-progress project looking for buyers/distributors, likely with a teaser or trailer but not much else. So the Rolling Stone headline definitely got the wrong end of the stick... My guess is they'll keep filming up until Finsbury and release it in late 2018. |

Yeah I think your right. Id rather it be 100% finished and include footage of all the big gigs like the cricket ground and finsbury. I don't know why but I'm more keen for this then supersonic even.
