Full thing is on Apple Music I think, but you have to pay for that and know what you’re doing (or at least be sober) so I’ll leave that for someone else to advise on.

www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/whats-on/music-nightlife-news/noel-gallagher-new-album-tour-14499559 Noel Gallagher is planning TWO new albums - including another under the guidance of current producer David Holmes. Gallagher appears on Beats 1 with Metallica's Lars Ulrich this weekend - where he also opens up about brother Liam, Oasis songs and leaving the band for good. Noel says he's got 'plenty of material' under his belt - enough for two albums, made in different ways. "I’ve got a whole backlog of songs, I write all the time so I’ve got plenty of material," he said. "I’m going to make another record with David [Holmes, producer of ‘Who Built the Moon?’] in this way but the last one took four years so I’ll probably have to make another one alongside it in the more traditional sense." Noel also said he effectively helped launch Liam's songwriting career - because he became 'burnt out' towards the end of Oasis. "Looking back on it now, I think I’d fallen slightly out of love with songwriting and I encouraged everybody to contribute because we were a band after all," he said. "To keep writing every 18 months to two years 16-18 songs on your own, it burnt me out. Some good stuff came out of it, it gave Liam a launch as a songwriter and all that which is good for him…And it gave the band a longer shelf life."

Because WBTM was soooo out there. Noel always says he has a vast amount of songs in stock, but we always get a 10 track album every 3 years or so.

Wow, could it be we see a relaxation of the nasty situation between them? Hopefully! Maybe they both realised that thing have gotten a bit out of control recently. Anyway, nice to get some Noel interviews, he has been awful quiet lately, for being on tour.

I just realised I'm paying for Apple Music and I'm listening to it now. He doesn't sound as bitter as some of the other interviews this album cycle, but he still sounds a bit pretentious at parts. He said he doesn't care about lyrics, he could care less if they're shit. He also said Ysee had to come on tour as well because she's exotic (or something along those lines). He mentions that Russ became his bass player by just texting noel and asking him while on the toilet. So far for the most part everything is something he's said before. He also mentioned he rewrote the chorus to TMWBTM 7 times because David Holmes wasn't convinced it was good enough/taking him anywhere. They briefly talked about touring and that he misses his kids, but the girls haven't toured so he finds it interesting looking at touring through their eyes. There's a part 2 next week

Anyway, nice to get some Noel interviews, he has been awful quiet lately, for being on tour. Seems like a nice comment, right? At least on the surface. In the end, it's Noel taking credit for Liams current success. If Noel hadn't felt burnt out, he wouldn't have encouraged the rest of the band to write. Liam wouldn't have written anything and he wouldn't have made the popular album he just did. Meanwhile, before the album really took off and became the monster it currently is, he felt no shame in lambasting it. Noel's such an ass.

He was talking about vocal range and having to "step it up instead of stepping it down"... Stuff like this is why populists win elections. People see a quote out of its context and Run with it...
