A new season is upon us now.
Can anyone stop Michael Schumacher?
This year sees lots of drivers changing teams. Expect McClaren to do well with JP Montoya and Kimi Raikkonen in the Mercades power car.
I think Schuey will do it again with McClaren taking the constructors. My home team Jordan will have another shit season with two rookies at the wheel, they'll be luck to finish ahead of Minardi.
Race starts in the early hours of Sunday morning 03.00 GMT. First up is Austrailia great circuit. Was raining during Qualifying so there might be some surprises
Anyone big into this racing or think its boring since the Ferrari dominance?

Believe it or not, this American loves F1 racing, not that stock-car or NASCAR crap! I'm a huge Ferrari fan, I went to the Canadian Grand Prix last year in Montreal...fantastic site, great course...I was right at the part of the track where the drivers rev up their engines the loudest for the longest straightaway on the track. Had a great time; unfortunately I can't go this year and I heard Indy doesn't COMPARE in terms of the amenities of the city (well, hm, Montreal vs. Indianapolis..." and even the track. Well, Montreal is within driving distance for me (6 hours or less) while Indy would involve more expensive hotel, a flight, etc. Going into the city the night before was great. I'm a Honda owner and take pride in my car, so seeing all the Civic tuner-boys on the street showing off their engines and racing seats and all that stuff was real fun, had some good conversations with people. I'd like to see BAR-Honda make a run this year; Button seems to be a good driver and came close to winning a couple of races last year.

I Have a feeling each individual race will be more exciting than last season, after seeing a couple of drivers develop, and with BAR-Honda in particular, now they have Honda's financial resources as well with Honda's equity stake. But I think Schumi will win most of the races again.

I'd like to see BAR-Honda make a run this year; Button seems to be a good driver and came close to winning a couple of races last year. I think BAR will do well for themselves this year again. Havent changed their drivers and they seem to be getting stronger and more confident espically Jenson Button. ust hope this season is more exciting than last. it was so one sided and dull. no fun, no excitment. heading to the monaco grand prix this season. should be good. Was very one sided last year but I enjoyed it anyway. Would love to go to a GP myself, but money is a problem. Monaco is always great tho, never know what will happen on the next corner. Walked the track myself while I was there in the summer, AMAZING!!! I was never so excited going under a tunnell before in my life.

I can't wait for the race tonight because it should be a good one. I doubt Ferrari will have it too easy this year because Mclaren and Renault seem to have good cars, and drivers this time around. Don't expect BAR to be as good as last season because the other teams have caught up to them.
The new tire and engine rules are terrible though, and will make the season very complicated because teams will try to find loopholes in all the rules.
I can't say i hate Schuey but i don't like the way he gets a lot of his wins - through preferential treatment by his team. I'm really starting to dislike Webber and Button though because they haven't proven anything and yet they still talk as if they are the best. I hope Heidfeld shows up Webber.
oh and Go Jacques!!!

a LOT of wins? He's had about 2 wins total from Barrichello slowing down at the end of the race...and it was big news both times. if you had one of the best drivers ever on your team, of course you'd give him preferential treatment.

Fisichella win the first race of the season for Renault with teammate Alonso on the podium in 3rd. The only Ferrari to finish was of Rubens Barrichello in 2nd. Reigning supremo world champion failed to finished after a collision with BMW-Williams' Heidfield near the end. missed the start after getting in half an hour late but enjoyed the race. sorry if I spoiled the race for anyone who was waiting for the re-runAustralian Grand Prix result (57 laps) (First 8 places score points 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1) 1. fucking heidfield the real season starts in europe Schumi will win again, and the F2005 will be out in the spanish GP. And I hate Button, he started with Williams and he didn't make nothing, he has never won a race and I think that he isn't a number 1 driver.

fucking heidfield How could you possible blame Heidfeld for that accident? Schuey forced him onto the grass and there was nothing Heidfeld could do, and there is no way that car is slowing down on the grass. It was schumacher's own fault, and he shouldn't have gotten that push from the marshalls either. All in all it was a really boring race. Everything was out of sync especially with all the top teams and drivers struggling at the back. I hate the new rules - especially the qualifying! Red Bull did surprise though

With this type of thing there are always different opinions and mine is that it is impossible to blame either one of us. I saw him behind me just as I came out of the pits and I made it clear I was defending my position. At one point I lost sight of him in the mirrors and went into the corner when I felt I’d been hit." Maybe I don't let grudges go - but Michael Schumacher is a scum kraut. He deliberately crashed into Damon Hill two times in a row! Fuck 'im! Prick! And then he did it to Villeneuve too! He should have been kicked out of racing! How can anyone like this little shit! And I like Jenson Button, I haven't heard anything arrogant from him , but then again, I haven't heard much from him. Also, it's all about the cars, there's very little difference in the drivers, and anyone could take Barrichello's spot and do a lot better. But fucking schitface, I hate him!

barrichello is one of the best drivers, he started on the bottom and now he is on top, that's the way. Button started on top and he never win a race, other young drivers deserve a better opinion like raikonen(even though he is in mclaren ), or alonso. and yes, when schumacher was young he was a bastard, but now he have grown up and is the best driver ever, yes, better than senna and prost, to many people says "he has the best car", and is true, because he makes the car!, he work as much as the mechanics to get the best of his car.
