I remember the 80s when some celebrities came out in support of the Tories in the press and it's never been forgotten to this day. To attack corbyn who is, rightly or wrongly seen as a champion of the working class by many who would be fans of Noel and to become the darling of the right wing press seems unnecessary to me and I think he would be better saying nothing. But if he wants to put his views out there then it's his right to do so, but you can bet there are a lot of people that will have an opinion on it. Noel hasn't come out in support of the Tories though. And is he a darling of the right wing press more than the left wing press? he certainly ain't the darling of the left wing if he's calling Jeremy Corbyn a communist. You may not care but you might find yourself in the minority there. There's a reason most sensible celebrities stay out of politics, it can ruin careers.

I'm a bit shocked to read he hates Brian Wilson. Is it the first time he mentions this ? How we can he dislike one of the best composer of its time ??

It's almost like he's purposely trying to lose any respect that casual listeners might have for him with his interviews recently.

An interview published tomorrow has Noel stating he believes that homeless people should be rounded up and made to run in large hamster wheels to generate electricity for millionaires.

maybe I'm a little too young and have a different attitude/mentality towards social media, but I really don't think Liam's tweets were that bad. ( Twitter is the place were ISIS, Trump and the bullies of this world have freedom of speech, i think that says enough. I spend one minute on this thing and all i want is to kill myself or kill someone. It is really, really bad. Liam rising from his own ashes is partly due to twitter, to be honest. Noel would be more popular within the younger wave of fans if he was communicating more on these things. But he doesn't, so he seem distant, not caring... etc As for the quality of his tweets, well... his anti-Noel rants have been embraced by his fanbase and now Noel's the bad guy god knows why. Repeat nonsense all over again and people will believe it. I suppose they need that good against evil to grow as human beings. Just like many people were taking sides between Oasis and Blur in the 90s, which was really really stupid. It's funny because back in the day, both Gallaghers were seen as arrogant, mean and a bit childish. Apart from a few dick moves from Liam (Unplugged etc), they were pretty equal. As for the interviews, some of them have been really interesting, especially when the interviewer is good. the process of making the record has been detailed and explained, more so than "good tune man" from the monkey man. Yeah twitter saved Liam rather than the decent album he put out. No he wouldn't, if he was saying on twitter what he's been saying in interviews then it would only lower his popularity amongst the young. Probably best he stays away from it.

We all know what an opportunist Farage is. Just because Noel came out and said `Get on with it!' regarding Brexit (which most of us have reached that conclusion too), Farage has tried to endorse this as NG being a pro Leaver, when in fact Noel had said in the same interview that he felt we shouldn't have been given the vote in the first place. In other words, he was a Remainer. Farage has taken NG's words out of context for his own agenda.

This isn't really a matter of opinion is it, he is getting slated online and most people backing him are obvious racists so if he's being misrepresented then that's unfortunate but it's the reality of what's happening.

Noel is just scared that some of his tax dodging mates will lose out if Corbyn becomes PM and sorts it all out. Noel is worth about 50 million quid so of course he doesn't like Corbyn. He obviously doesn't believe in 'for the many, not the few' and is too thick to understand the difference between a socialist and a communist. Like his mate Bono he talks like an absolute dinosaur and is completely out of touch beyond his London celeb bubble. It's sad really.

Meanwhile, us lesser mortals look on in envy or disgust, and comment about the latest random thing Liam or Noel has said, as though it is in some way more important and significant than what is going on in our own lives. That is the sad unfortunate reality of what's happening...

You appear to have an unhealthy obsession with anything Gallagher family related.

We're both on an oasis forum and whether it's musical or personal discussion.. we're both talking about people who could careless about either of us. So, who are you to judge?

I'm actually quite conservative on economic issues, and agree to a lesser extent with some of the things Noel says about politics and whatsoever. But I still feel embarrassed when I see things like this. It's as if Noel just pretended to be Labour back on the 90s because it was cool to be New Labour.

I'm not even Labour (viva la anarchia!), but being repeatedly praised by Nigel Farage is just the most uncool thing I can think of for any artist, never mind the "voice of a working-class generation" Noel Gallagher. The Noel behind Cigarettes & Alcohol would have told Nige to fuck off.

The Supersonic documentary changed a lot of the views that people had about Noel and Liam with Noel coming out looking worse, and Liam not looking like the drunk buffoon he was made out to be. Now with each documentary we see Noel is the bitter one who is holding a grudge because Liam insulted him, while he himself hurls insults at Liam any chance he gets. To be fair, since Liam surfaced in early summer to announce and promote AYW, he’s been insulting and attacking Noel left and right. Noel was silent all summer and fall. Now that’s hre promoting MOON he is finally retorting. They both suck. But don’t act like Liam didn’t play a major role in this after a summer of insults. His twitter timeline is a Noel Gallagher punching doll. Sure, and I cringe everytime Liam insults Noel on twitter like a children that just cant let it go. It's an embarassing situation and I blame both. But I hate Noel playing the part of the adult and witty one, when he's not better than Liam and is saying things as bad as him. I no longer buy it. At least he was funny some time ago, but now he's just angry.
