It's safe to say the attitude towards Noel has changed a bit in recent times. He's getting a lot of stick for his remarks on Liam and Oasis fans. Now the sleaford mods launched another attack on Noel after his comments on him not knowing anyone as rich as him. Wether it's right or wrong i did notice a change in Noel's interviews, less humour and more arrogance. I think he's losing touch with his fans and maybe even his past wich i thought i would never see happen. I still love the guys music but i find it harder to find sympathy for him
discuss seriously if you want but i don't want to make this into a Liam vs Noel thing

I watched an interview recently in Milan.Noel made a comment "€1000 for a scarf(purchased by Sara..i think/assume)..he shook his head. My immediate thought was, why tell us that? Many of ur fans probably saved their last tenner to buy one of ur records. Dont rub it in Noely, we know ur rich...

Love how when people make the comments about Liam out of nowhere theres no "i hate how every thread turns out like this, enjoy the music" crying from everyone.
This has fuck all to do with Liam. It's another example of Noel becoming a fucking vagina.
But Sleaford Mods can fuck right off. With every half empty gig, they're becoming even less relevant than they were for the 10 minutes they got in 2014.

I think people look much into it really. Noel contradicts himself, talks a lot shite and also likes to wind people up. Like this comments that he has never met anyone as rich. He's friends with Chris Martin, Paul Weller and Bono FFS, people that are way way more richer than him. Of course this comments cannot be 100% serious. He just likes to wind up people and journalists. It may or may not come across as good sometimes of course, but I don't think he gives a fuck.
On the other hand, of course he is rich and there's no way he can be the same person he was 25 years ago. He has been rich for more than two decades, how can you be a man of the people and totally connected with his roots when he hasn't lived that way for so long? He has said before he misses Manchester and wishes he could visit more, but life is what it is now. He has kids and a wife and he probably wants to give them everything in the world and more. Who wouldn't? Is he arrogant? He is Noel Gallagher, when has he not been arrogant? Isn't this the man that boasted about having a Rolls Royce in the 90's when he couldn't drive? He named his house "Supernova Heights" FFS.

Sleaford Mods are an embarrassment. Can't be arsed to read what they've said but Noel did disappear up his own arse for a bit but his recent interviews have been a lot better from what I've seen.
