Solid record, but really not digging Now That I've Found you. It sounds like a Rooney song, if I want a poppy California radio sunshine track, I'll go back to Rooney or Phantom Planet, but this style doesn't suit Liam. Too pre-mature, too teeny. Don't like it. It honestly sounds like a teen boy band song Not edgy enough for you? I think it’s glorious.

Have you heard Stay Young? ☺ haha, sure. But Stay Young is much more of a rocker and more edgy with its multiple guitar layers etc. For me, the whole arrangement of the song is cringeworthy. These ‘woohooos / uuuhhhhhhs’ and overly pop production, doesn‘t fit Liam‘s solo career so far. A nicely crafted pop ballad as For What it‘s yworth works better, it doesn‘t have all that pastiche over it that Now That I Found You has. Well Liam has abandonned the idea of being a rock n roll act when he signed on to have the army of songwriter. It's a good record, but don't be mistaken, Liam is now Pop Liam, Rock Liam is over. You'll still get one or two shockwaves to please old fans, but that's it. I expect the next one to be full on Motown. Liam to Moonwalk.

Which is too sickly. It also sounds more Liam, It’s not to far away in vibe from the Songbird demo or For Anyone. Love a fuzzy guitar.

Forced to give it a 7 because you think it’s decent but can’t bring yourself to say anything good about it because it hurts to much. What a wanker.

Now that I’ve found you belongs on a Ronan keating album it’s bad soft rock with cheesy catchy lyrics. This song should be sung by a teenie bopper not the man who snarls gas panic and dya know what I mean

Actually i love the record, Bar the shitty singles, my review will come and prove you wrong, again. So you're deeply mistaken. At least i'm not trying to convince myself this Liam has always been that Liam. For whatever reasons you may have in your head. 90s Liam would probably throw up listening to that record.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a divided opinion on different songs before Just listened to this for first time. Hmmm...... Very sixties orientated which for me seems a bit like a casual drop into Beady Eye territory. Hoping this grows on me more - I was hoping for more comeback to me and newer sounding vibe, but thats just my expectations I guess. Not for my tastes Rock and Roll really. Halo is great and why me, why not just not as hyped as I thought I would be. EDIT : Ok fck me i hadnt heard the bonus tracks...shitty standard edition!!!!!!!!...... wow.... the end second half of this album kicks ass!!! BAR FROM GLIMMER - OH MY GOD THAT IS SHITE! Invisible Sun - for me THE best tune on album!!!!

Tomorrow will be the day for me! I don’t mean an album full of songs like that, I mean this is the guy that sings those songs and has a bit of an edge. The guy that swaggers down the street not skips along to sugary pop tunes. She is love gets a lot of stick on here but this is the cheesiest Gallagher song

Its nowhere near a cheesy as She Is Love or FWIW and I don't think that boy bands or pop groups should have a monopoly on putting out light and joyful tunes. Had there been to many of them on the album then it might have been a problem but it can support one like that.

For those who claim (same people over and over again) this album it´s no rock, i´ts pop, it´s like Take That , it´s like Robbie Williams blah blah blah...
Have you heard some songs of the group you´re supposed to love? Maybe Wonderwall, maybe She´s Electric, maybe SCYHO, maybe Let There be Love, maybe Let´s All Make Believe, maybe Don´t Go Away, maybe Stand By Me, maybe Sunday Mornig Call....aaaaahhhh wait wait wait...these songs were written by Noel Gallagher!! Nah, no problem, it´s fucking Noel Gallagher.
Another recurrent argument here: Liam´s not singing his own songs, lyrics are from another person, he has not passion about these songs....ahhhhh wait wait wait...when Songs are written by Noel this BIG, ENORMOUS problem completely dissapear...uhhmmm...
WHy me? Why Not is a GREAT album, although many here will never ever recognise it.

Actually agree, the cheesiest tunes on this record are the "rock n roll" ones : Shockwave, The River (which feel like it's 2 hours long) and the Beady Eye'sque worst rockers Be still. My mama said, Liam, 5 wow On the other hand, tunes like Why Me Why not and Now that i've found you are perfect tunes, with a bit of pop yes, but that never hurt anyone.

Spot on, it’s not my favourite flavour of Liam, but it’s a lovely song in its own right which does the job that’s it’s meant to do (radio play, pr for the story behind it, etc). One of these on the album is more than enough but it definitely has a place commercially if nothing else.

Hate...and i really do ...hate to say it but your right...No where near the album I really wanted but I am sure it will grow on me... more an Oasis Don't believe the truth, Elo, Beatles, Roses mash up album. I really doubt he will screm 75% of these sonds live which is a shame. Dob't get me wrong BAR Glimmer the songs are good...just not what I was expecting.

The 90s were 30 years ago mate. Liam has grown. I'm more of a 'Noelist'. Always been and always will. But we have to admit that this album is a step forward musically. Never expected to see Liam in a song like NTIFY or Alright Now honestly.

Wait, how is that one lazy? I get the other. Don't see it for this one. That sort of corny inspiration line has been used in songs countless times. Yes, but that does not mean that it could not work in a new song.
