Surprised to see Glimmer get some low ratings. Was buzzing when I heard it last night and still am 😁 Incredibly joyful song. I agree

I've listened to the album twice, it sounds amazing! I'm not able to make some profund reviews but I have a feeling of WMWN being better than AYW. There's a lot of styles and variations but at the same time it sounds too much like Beatles, and this is a good thing.
This album reminds me a lot of Beady Eye, but in the right direction, with a good productor and smart choices. This is what Beady Eye should've sounded like, but now it's too easy to say. At least, I'm glad to see Liam doing an stuff which make people proud of him.
I must say The River keeps as one of my favourites, it is even more heavier on the album and it's exactly the type of song that I love (reminds a lot of the BRMC' song 'King of Bones' flerting with The Turning). Once is the biggest one, definitely his major anthem, 10/10 well deserved. One of Us, Why Me? Why Not., Be Still, Meadow and Gone follow as my highlights. The bonus tracks are very good indeed but I don't see any places on the album to put them. Misunderstood is the best one, maybe it should've save to the 3rd album.
At this point, I rate it as 8/10. I gave 7/10 to AYW.

A little disappointed after a lot of listens. None of the new songs blew me away more than what we already had. I guess it makes sense to release the best songs as singles but still a let down. WMWN is up there, and Misunderstood is so close, but needs better structure — beautiful parts but they don’t come together perfectly. tHe best songs was NO Way the first released.. They amazing is insane.. everyone have different favorites that tells you it's good from beginning to end.. most dont even mention Shockwave as a favorite and it was the lead single.

Listened to it now twice and have to say this was worth the wait. I like this even more than As You Were after the first listen and at that point he could have release anything and I would have loved it.
Shockwave - To me it was the perfect first single, a solid 'Hi I'm back and will blow you away' rocker. One Of Us - I don't like it as much as the majority I think. It's a nice song but nothing more for me. Once - A lovely song no matter if it's the original, the demo or live. Now That I've Found You - I love this tune. This in the sun with a beer will make you smile immediately. Halo - I didn't expect this haha. The first few seconds I thought 'nah' but when the drums kick in YES give me more. This will be great live and I wonder if Liam will do the whistling lol. Why Me Why Not - Maybe my fave on this album just because of the first verse. Would have also made a good first single. Be Still - Same as One Of Us. It's a nice tune but not a lot more. I like Liam's voice on this more though. Alright Now - Beatles/Harrison/Liam. Love it. Meadow - Also gives me Beatles vibes but this is more Lennon. Not sure if I like this yet. The River - I started to love this song at his Glastonbury gig. That 'Lick your lips like a prize fight show me you can take a punch' line alone is just wow. Gone - A solid tune. The 'I'm gonna be gone' bit is made for Liam. Nobody can put that much attitude into those few words. Invisible Sun - I like this. I like this a lot. It's produced heavy like The River. I guess this is one of Wyatt's songs? Misunderstood - Nice song, can't say anything bad about it. Glimmer - The only song I really don't like.
Great album, Liam's voice sounds fresh and I can't wait to hear those songs live.

WMWN is a beautiful album! I’m getting some Bad finger and Sean Lennon vibes. And that’s a good thing for me. It’s a more adventurous record than AYW and you can feel that Liam is súper confident with these songs. I love it. Long Live Liam!

Invisible Sun sounds like something Liam would have recorded had he done work again with DIV.

I have just seen the Amazon version, I have to understand if it is a box that contains the normal cd with the original cover.

First listen was right before I had to go to sleep yesterday. Had it on all day at work. Now finally sitting down with some beers.
The 'is it good whilst drinking' test is very important for me 😂

Woow, Halo...what a stomper, brings to my mind "Let's Spend The Night Together"... Even rhymes with it when he sings "I can get a little better..." 😁 This sounds more promising to me than the BTL comparisons
