Trying To Find A World is classic Noel.
Yeah okay, not up there with your Talk Tonights or Half The World Aways, but it's a beautiful melody with the old melancholy to it. I also like his vocals on this one, less nasally and not drowned out by sludgy guitars.

Did that "making of" documentary ever surface anywhere?

Did that "making of" documentary ever surface anywhere? I've got parts 1 and 2 but where are parts 3 and 4? There has been no mention of when/where that is coming out, not yet anyway I don't believe.

The co-write on Love Is A Rich Man is for this song.
Not sure if this was mentioned before?

Noel is out of the UK top 100 album chart? I thought the UK tour would bolster his sales a bit and get him back in the chart for a while.
How few albums are even needed to enter the top 100 nowadays? Probably about 100 I would have thought!

If you have a look besides the top 15-20 it's basically all streams, so it's more or less always the same records I expected him to do more press alongside the tour but it's been silent, such a weird way to promote the album (but to be fair the tour in itself has been a success)

I'm sure in the good old days a new album would stick around the top 20 for the entire length of the album cycle / world tour, which made releasing a follow up in that timeframe make zero commercial sense. Roll on Noels heart break album in 2024! 🤞

I'd be very surprised if we actually get another album from Noel next year and I think it'll be a while before we do as Noel always likes to take a good year or two before we get another album from him.

He might say he's got it all ready but when it comes down to it, he really gonna relive the unhappiness? Don't think so. Personally I'd like the stadium rock album if he can do vocals or...get a certain someone else to do vocals...

Its a decent listen this far down the line - for me Mind Games, pretty boy Smith remix nd Holmes INGUT are the stand out tunes - at time of writing I can't remember many of the other tunes.

I still don't understand why Noel didn't also give us the instrumental cut of "I'm Not Giving Up Tonight" which is a beautiful string section. Probably the best on the album.

Probably about 100 I would have thought! I think when Noel and Liam do all these festivals - they ironically do more for the Oasis album sales than their own solo albums. It's the Oasis ones that are the constants in the charts anyway, but they always seem to see a spike when Liam and Noel are on the road.

Anything truly exciting to look forward to, or should I go into hibernation for 3 years until next release cycle? Already seen him live. I guess maybe: — setlist changes? — making of CS doc? — collaboration tracks? Loved CS, but just wondering if I can take a break from checking for news every day

I dunno, he seems pretty lazy on this album

I like better his singing in the concerts than in the album.

I think his voice has declined a lot over the past couple of years. Nothing like Liam's level of decline in 2008 but it's also less noticeable because he has never had as good a voice as Liam.

Think of a Number.
It's a crime that he doesn't play this one live.
