Unless Noel is massively out selling the Foo's on physical releases post Monday figures I can't see him getting #1. The Foo Fighters are out streaming him by quite a bit, on Spotify at least. They were just 100 streams ahead yesterday, the difference in the UK is minimal |

It’s really going to come down to the physical sales, and who still has a larger potential audience who could put them over the top imo |

Foo Fighters are surely at the stage of their career (and have been for quite awhile) where people are going to the gigs for the greatest hits and not listening to the new stuff? You mean in the same stage where Oasis was from 1998 till 2009? I've just seen the Ff's at RAR! Great gig, and Dave Grohl really seems to be the nicest guy in Rock Business! When Oasis played RAR in 2000 the guitarist NG didn't show up and the next time I wanna see them at Rock am See 2009 the broke up the day before because the guitarist walks away, so I've never seen the Brothers together on Stage because of NG. Not very nice! |

Foo fighters are pretty harmless, but that's a weird description for a rock n roll band.
I appreciate Dave Grohl, but gave up on his music years ago. That said, he managed to make a career for himself when no one believe in it, and delivered 3 or 4 great records. So only for that, respect.
