Dead In The Water fits perfectly on the album. It’s the perfect comedown after the mayhem before hand.
I am glad this song has not been shoved onto an acoustic album. Tagging it on at the end of a colourful, vibrant album like this only makes the song ever more stark given the drastic change in tone and provides greater feelings of isolation. It works well because the end of the album is so great and intense, just imagine how it’s genius would get lost in the bad flow of a ho hum acoustic album (imagine if it was sandwiched between shite like Girl With X Ray Eyes or an acoustic version of Dream On).
Placing it on the end of Who Built The Moon just helps underlie it’s greatness.
What an end to this album from the first instrumental onwards. Absolutely mind blowing.

Black & White Sunshine gets better with every listen. It feels like the closest thing Noel has done to glory days Oasis to me, no idea why but it just has that certain something. That buildup to the chorus is blissfull.

That buildup to the chorus is blissfull. For many this is one of the weaker or less favoured songs on the album, but not for me. Agree with your post. Love the strings, love the joyful chorus. It sounds kind of Oasis-ish, yet I can't think of an Oasis album this would've fit on.

It would've been cool for the CD to have Dead In The Water as a hidden track on End Credits - a period of silence with the song starting at the 10 minute mark.

After the first two listens my definite 2 favourites are Be Careful what you Wish For and Taught Me to Fly. Easily. That said, I really enjoyed the whole album, but particularly tracks 5 to the end. And I think sticking DITW at the end fits perfect, as its been said earlier. Hard to decide on a third favourite but I'd probably say ILITL. Least fav is for sure HM. I'm still not crazy about it. Don't love it but don't dislike it either. I see both sides, as matt and eva have explained and agree with points both make. I like the exciting manic edge of the song and the bubbling bass lines and verse lyrics but I also feel like it's such a throwaway track reminiscent of a few others. It's like a better version of She Must Be One If Us.

Fort Knox. Dead In The Water if it would have really counted, but it is a bonus track after all.

She taught me how to fly and the man who built the moon are a definite top two for me, not sure which order though. After that, it's one of dead in the water, holy mountain, beautiful world or maybe even if love is the law. I'll go dead in the water if pushed probably but I do love holy mountain

Don't get all the hate for holy mountain or the comments directed against those that don't like it by the way. I mean, if you don't like it, great, fine, but don't mock those who do?! Comical really.
I hate bcwywf but don't laugh that others like it

Why are so many people sayin’ Dead In The Water? It’s not on the fuckin’ album, it’s an extra on the deluxe, basically a b-side. Fuckin’ hate deluxe albums. Bonus track or not - it's still a deluxe album

Changed mine to IABW, STMHTF & TMWBTM.
KOR has grew on me also.
Only real stumbles for me right now are BAWS & ILITL. Too poppy. Those two being coupled with 2 instrumentals makes the rear of the album a slight grind for me.
That might change though 🤔
