Cool change of pace, backing vocals are gorgeous and I love the groove. Perhaps a bit too reminiscent of The Right Stuff, though. Maybe the weakest track so far, but I really like it still.

I wonder what Patrick in Thistlesbury thinks of the bassline.

I also thought initially it was the weakest track(except the interludes), but it is an addictive one. Now, I simply think there are not weak tracks in the album (well, the interludes are just ok)

He really should cut out the constant biting at old fans that are not totally amazed by that album or at least Holy Mountain. Again, he mentions that way too often to be not bothered by it. At least that's my take on it. But what did he say? Maybe I missed something but I only heard that the comparisons with She Bangs make no sense (and I actually agree with that) That judging from the comments to either the trailer or Holy Mountain he feels he maybe gave his old fans too much credit for their musical scope. It is kind of the same thing you read here on and on by some people who must have a pretty narrow scope in general themselves, there are a 1000 reasons why you might not like a certain song or album. Anyway, that was a lovely song! Sadly have to leave now. All in all, very interesting comments by Noel. Hope I can listen to the rest tomorrow.

It's getting a good reaction on social media.
Because, y'know, people decided to write it off after listening to a fucking 2 minute trailer.

This is definitely my least favourite. Nice riff and production, but it's not something I'll come back to on it's own - still, that chorus is quite feel-good and I won't ever skip it either.

The B&WS riff really reminds me of 'Revolver' era Beatles tunes.

BAWS was originally a different song called The Dentist.
Sequel to Freaky Teeth..?

"People around Noel seem to mention Liam a lot, especially if it's true that Gem and Chris also tell 'toe-curling' stories about him... Is this what noel has said? He mentioned it in the Stereogum interview

"If you don't like this record, you're not going to like the next few years cos there's no going back from here." X That's exactly what I want to hear. How could he possibly go back to making stodgy plodding records again after this? I love love love this album.

So glad to hear Noel say that this isn't just a one-off, this is now Noel Gallagher. Another...let's say nineteen albums with as much variety and creativity as this, please, Noel.

He says that the first Interlude should have been put after STMHTF, so to all change it on our playlists I would have done the same. It's a little bit too backloaded where it is.
