The bass of Be Careful What You Wish For reminds me more of a slowed down Back By Dope Demand than of Come Together, actually.
Oh and I LOVE Keep On Reaching. Fucking awesome. Lots of brass. Fucking awesome.

Black & White Sunshine could have fit on an Oasis album.
What a euphoric song.

First Impressions after 2 listens
Great - If Love Is The Law, The Man Who Built The Moon
Very Good - Holy Mountain, She Taught Me How To Fly
Good - Fort Knox, It's A Beautiful World, Black & White Sunshine (Could Grow)
Average - Keep On Reaching (Could Grow)
Not For Me - Be Careful What You Wish For
The 2 Wednesdays are ok in the context of the album but I wouldn't really class them as tracks.
A proper review to follow once have listened to it properly

Ah screw it, haha Is the leak good quality? If so, I may have to download it and give it a whirl later. Busy Friday evening and I want to get the full experience of being able to listen to it all the way through, which would've meant staying up til about 1am Friday morning

Heard through it one time now. I like The Man Who Built The Moon especially, and those wednesday-songs are also nice. And Dead In The Water is like the best thing ever.

I found it easily. I'm at work for the next seven hours, like, and have work again at about 7, but that'd give me close to 3 hours to get a full, uninterrupted, listen. Bloody lack of will power...

Wow, production is huge.
First of all, Holy Mountain definitely the weakest song on the album. Thats a relieve. Also, IABW is not not even my fave five!
Really loving Keep On Reaching. Such a cool groove and vocals!
BCOWYWF is also very interesting with all the girls singing. It seems that was in the first trailer after all.
Love is The Law and TMWBTM also great.
STMHTF sounds much better than the live version, but it not on the level of the above.
The instrumentals are indeed only interludes but they sure sound nice.
Dead In The Water is truly beautiful. Also, makes me wonder that Noel should explore more the acoustic + piano. Im under the impression that any set that day would sound worthy of a proper release.
God Help Us All kind of disappoints. There's barely any production on it, just an acoustic demo.

On first listen, this is clearly Noel's most eclectic album (even vocally). Probably also his best solo album, but I'm gonna give it a few more listens before I make such a statement.

I have the impression that Side B is gonna go down better on the forum as it sounds more like the Noel people know and love (but even at that, it's a new Noel).

Wow, very different album. The sound is absolutely fantastic, very cinematic and atmospheric. I was a bit worried about she taught me... but what a sound. Seems like he choose to let the sound speak rather than the melody. This is record for good speakers, definitely. It must sound very flat otherwise. The production needs to breath.
Overall, after a rough first listen, some songs are a bit repetitve, that would be my main criticism, some lack an organ here, a guitar solo there, but we know Noel wont do guitar solos anymore right. It's also one song too short, i thought, maybe that will fade.
Instrumentals, i was expecting a bit more psychedelia, this is just ambiant music, nothing cosmic.
And the Man Who Built the Moon : Noel didn't get call from the Brocolis so he decided to finally record his bond theme. ahaha

The only thing I don't like so far is the sound of the horns. So generic...
