As usual, how would you rate this song?

I'm giving it a seven based on the fact that the live performance was kinda bland. I expect to like it better on the record.

Shouldn't we wait for the album version?

Waiting for the album version. The only Gallagher related song I heard live first where the live version turned out better happened to be To Be Where There's Life. The clip from the teaser sounded more promising than this live version. Paper Crown to me sounds cringy live, but it is great on the album. Gonna wait.

3/10. Boring melody, repetitive, uninspired lyrics. Musically sounds like a thousand local indie bands playing every weekend with it's guitar riff and generic 16th's on the hi-hats drum beat.
It's rubbish. If it was some average local band playing this exact song, you wouldn't give it a second listen. You can probably find 10,000 songs in this style that are no better or worse all over Bandcamp and Soundcloud.

The performance sounded like ''Adult Oriented Pop'' to me. And I'm not having the shawl girl and her scissors - or her whistle. Someone please get Noel a steak and chips.

This sounds like the Killers during the Day and Age era.
I like it but I prefer Fort Knox for what it is.
Barber Shop Music .

Can't rate it without hearing the record but at the moment it's in the middle of the three songs for me with Fort Knox number one.

So far I’ve rated the three songs 5, 8 & 7 respectively - which sits WBTM at this stage on an average score of 6.66 by my reckoning.
Bad omen?
Sidenote: I seem to be the only person in my actual real world life who thinks these songs are anything better than utter crap, people don’t seem to be responding well.

Shouldn't we wait for the album version? Yes. This is not needed now. Studio version only.

Not that great, once again b-side material like "Holy mountain". I hope the studio version sounds much better thanks to the production.

This sounds like the Killers during the Day and Age era. I like it but I prefer Fort Knox for what it is. Barber Shop Music . It also sounds like something The Vaccines would use as a B-side or album filler and at their best, that band is very average.
