Good song. But could be much better with better lyrics and without him singing the same thing over and over again.

It's really sad knowing the Oasis fanbase includes more than a few specimens like this one.

I've given Noel shit over becoming a self-important twat lately, but this guy takes the fucking cake. Am I the only one enjoying stuff like the scissors? Yoko knitting blindfolded didn't exactly help Instant Karma's melody, but it helped make the performance memorable. This is along the same lines.

I prefer it to Holy Mountain, I'd much rather he came out with this as the first single. It is lacking something and very derivative though, but hopefully it'll sound better as part of the album whole (find myself repeating myself a lot in this respect).

The only problem with the scissors is you can't hear them. I'm sure it will sound cool when they're properly miked, it's not just a visual prop.

The scissors thing would've worked had the rest of the band dressed up a bit. Just her on her own looking weird whilst everyone else is in t-shirt and jeans just looks bad.

Who cares about The scissors, they are not essential to the song, no one can hear them. It's harmless fun and cost Noel money, he's basically paying someone to just stand on the stage.

This is the same band that had a drummer in a Clockwork Orange costume.

It's alright. Fort Knox is the best thing so far by a mile.

I don't see how people can speak about liam's lyrics after three songs in WBTM Ok song to be honest, doesn't hurt my ears like HM, very strokes-y guitar indeed like i read here. But i still really hate Noel's voice when he's trying to reach high notes with his chest voice, sounds like he's forcing so hard and it makes it really unpleasant.

sounds like a generic song from the 80s I still have hopes there are more stuff like Fort Knox and less like this and HM in the album

It's a really nice song, a bit repetitive as regards the lyrics, but I don't know why Noel sounds he's having a ministroke or something, especially when he tries to reach the higher notes. This is more evident when he sings Holy Mountain. I guess this has to do with him losing too much weight. He doesn't look very healthy tbh

A lot better than HM. Nice tune. I hope it will be a filler on the album.

I think it's a decent song, allthough it's a bit generic. I like the guitars, and Chris does a good job on the drums. Good backing vocals. Noel seems to be struggling a bit with the vocals on this though, and the lyrics might need some more work.

The best thing about the song is Sharrock's drumming. The song's alright, but just very generic and lazy by NG standards. I'm all for experimental, but I'd like it to be built on a foundation of good strong melodies and lyrics. Right now some of it sounds like it could be sonically interesting, but the horrible mastering is the nail in the coffin for me. I'm quickly loosing hope that this album will be for me, and I doubt It'll have more than a song or two that I'll go back to in the future.

Surprised people are so quick to judge based off this version when you can tell from the clip that the album version sounds a lot fuller and well brought-out. I like the chorus that we can hear now, and I think the whole thing will sound gorgeous in the studio version.

That chorus! Reminiscent of early Noel writing. I love it.

Being a drummer, Sharrock's drumming here is pretty standard (albeit nice) really.

Very nice song. Two choruses, a cool groove, and good guitars and drums. The new chorus reminds me of The Police dunno why

It's alright. Far better than Holy Mountain but it's pedestrian and no where near as ferocious and exciting as Fort Knox. MOR for Noel. Not anything we haven't heard from Noel before - it's more of an upbeat AKA What A Life than anything. Like carlober said I do enjoy the shoegazey dream pop guitar riffs that unfortunately didn't get their shine. This live mix was horrible, no balance, the guitars are too quiet and Noel + backing singer(s) are too loud. Chris sounded very good. But yeah, the lyrics are very boring. I hope the album version based on the snippets emphazises the guitars and an airy soundscape which the track deserves.

After a few listens I’ve warmed to it. Very “New York” feel to it (Santigold, Strokes, Blondie).
I hope, though, that lyrically we’re gonna get a break from his adoration of Sara on this album. At the minute it feels like I’m sat on a train next to a couple who are kissing so loudly I wanna put me headphones in.

Remember he's done this before throughout MK2 Oasis but because of his clever songwriting they aren't terrible (except for She Is Love, damn that song to eternal hell).
