Two very different songs. A board divided. What is you stance on what we have heard so far?

Like both songs. Don't love either of them. Not a fan of a new direction in general. I was very happy with the Noel Gallagher I've been getting for 20 years.

Im still pretty excited for this album, but the two releases seemed like really poor choices.
Holy Mountain is pretty fun and AWESOME live, but its no first single material.
Fort Knox is a great and interesting album opener and will be great at the beggining of gigs, but its not what people need to hear after Holy Mountain.
I guess its like for SOTSOG they put Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is as the first single and Fuckin' In The Bushes as the second.

Although it takes some time to take off, Fort Knox is pretty good. Holy Mountain I'm not a fan, saw it live yesterday for the first time. Still excited and curious for the record.

Don't love either of them. I like FN, works as ambient background music noise. Luke warm on HM.

For me these two songs are like Fuckin' In The Bushes and I Can See A Liar.
You know which is which.

I think this is going to be a really fascinating album and as a fan I'm interested in a new direction, everyone should try something different in life once in a while. But I wouldn't mind betting once we hear this new album we'll wonder why the hell they chose these two songs to lead the promotion, I reckon there'll be far better material on the album.

Holy Mountain is shit. I do love Fort Knox, and it will be another great stage entrance song if that's how it will be used, but it's also the weakest opening track so far from HFB. Put it on a U2 album and nobody would know.
I have every reason to hope this will be a great and addictive album. But it's still possible that when the dust settles and we've heard it all I'll prefer Liam's album.

Not voting ‘cause none of the options get across how I feel.
Superb start to an album though.
Yet somehow not so strong as single tracks.

This is just my opinion but I'm going to be honest.
I completely understand that Noel wanted to take NGFHB in a new direction but I think both songs are absolutely terrible. Holy Mountain is an embarrassment and Fort Knox I guess if slightly better but still....WTF.
The two weakest songs on As You Were are a million times better. The battle is already over between the two brothers as much as we are sick of talking about that, its true.
Id be embarrassed to have friends listen to these songs and say Noel Gallagher wrote them...
BUT if people like it fantastic! However, if this is the best of the album it could be the first Gallagher album since 94' that I won't get, which is such a shame.

Holy Mountain is ok and quite fun ...but ultimately I can't get away from the she bang she bangs thing and the cringy she danced, she danced 'right into my pants' lol
Fort Knox I don't love, its ok as that type of music goes, but its ground trodden by many artists so don't understand why its so revolutionary or interesting, it goes nowhere and says nothing really

Holy Mountain I really love. Fort Knox is ok, it hasn't really grabbed me yet. I'm guessing it will be one of the tracks I will skip when listening to the album.
I haven't rated it yet, because it may grow on me. HM was an instant 10 when I heard it. FK is a 7 at best currently, but I'm hoping that will change.
