I wonder if he will tour this album for 2 years. I hope his tour is finished after the festivals in 2018.

Probably Eminem can realistically beat him but it will be his second week of sales although as I’ve said promotion is crap in the uk for the album.he is going to need between 65 to 85 k sales I think. Tbf, Eminem hasn't been doing a lot to promote his new album either. Well Eminem just announced a collab single with Beyoncé so basically, that will rule the charts.

Neil Claxton @mintroyale If I had a penny for every copy of Reputation sold in the UK yesterday, I’d be able to buy Happy Meals for 2/3rds of the current Labour MPs.
269*260/3*2 = ~47k copies. Isn't that similar to what Liam had day 1?

Few on this thread genuinely think because Liam may sell more first week it means it’s the better quality album?! Guessing One Direction are the greatest band of all time & their songs beat anything by any artist.
Couldn’t care less what Liam or Noel sell, I prefer Noel’s song I’ve heard so far to anything off Liam’s, if Liam sells more it doesn’t change my opinion which is the only opinion to me that matters.

Two days on this forum and you already know my thoughts? I was just talking about sales not about quality. And, indeed, sales are very strong for As you were. And i hope Noel's new album sell well too. If you wish to talk about who is the better brother, this is the wrong thread.

Noel is releasing in a more competitive week as well Liam has zero competition Noel will have Eminem and Elvis to rival his release.I think you get the impression now Noel is very happy with the album and not fussed if it goes to number 1.

The only NGHFB track to have spent longer in the top 100 than Holy Mountain is AKA..What A Life.

The only NGHFB track to have spent longer in the top 100 than Holy Mountain is AKA..What A Life. Haha. Interesting note. How many weeks did WAL last? Also, didn’t HFB hang in the top 100 for almost a solid year? Or pretty damn close.

I think Noel's record will crush Liam's in the charts.

I think Noel's record will crush Liam's in the charts. Don't think so. They haven't done enough to promote it.

Don't think so. They haven't done enough to promote it. Yep, that's the only reason. He's Noel F@#$ing Gallagher. He's The Chief. What more promotion does it need? I was waiting for it and had my copy on pre-order as soon as it could be bought.

I'll definitely be interested in the sale figures after this lackluster release cycle.

Noel could have really played it up almost like a politics battle against Liam. What a missed opportunity.

It may go to number one, but i don’t think it will sell as much as Liam’s. Noel relies on the Old Oasis fans for his success (whether he likes it or not) and hasn’t really attracted the younger generations to buy. Liam has been able to do that quite a bit and while still pleasing the oasis fans as well. Just look at their tours and what has sold out and what hasn’t.
