Wow men, this album is having some strong legs!! NGHFB(1st album) Pt2. Don't think it could do that, but I do think that by the time he releases his next album there's a good chance that WBTM will have sold 350-400k.

Noel and his people were right to try to fit WBTM any way they could into the Christmas selling season, even at the expense of any single success.
Noel's name recognition+Christmas sales allows an "experimental"/"divisive" record to sell well.

Noel's name recognition+Christmas sales allows an "experimental"/"divisive" record to sell well. Then releasing If Love Is The Law as a single should've been something like a sure shot. I dont know... Some stuff feels right but others leave a lot to be desired.

WBTM up to #10 HM still at #84 Amazing. 3 months after its release Holy Mountain chugs along. They fell, they fell, right under it's spell!

Holy Mountain is the worst NG song EVA! Charts doesn't make it a good song True but it's rare these days that a shit NG or guitar band song will hang around the charts. It would sink like a stone if it was truly shit.

It’s just impressive how long it’s hung around. Same for some of Liam’s singles. Latter day Oasis songs came fast but left just as soon.
