I gave it a 1 for effort. Liam's 2 songs he wrote for his album are way better than this and I usually hate Liam's songs.

Take away from this poll... those who hate it are more vocal today than those who are ok with it. Pretty typical of life in general. Those who hate something are always more openly vocal about it.
Fair enough.

34 votes for 6 or above. 32 votes for 5 or below. Astounding! 74 >= 6 = 57% 56 <= 5 = 43%

I don't do team Noel or Liam, and I was excited by Noel's new offering after listening to the teaser, this however isn't for me. listening to the preview again, has got my excitement back. I'm sure my son will love this though.

7 for me - though maybe that's being a bit generous.
Really like the verses, though. The whistle sample actually annoys me at the end, I'd rather it just be in there at the start.
Not my favourite, but really has grown on me since first listen - and it's catchy as fuck.

I'd give this song a 5,5/10. This is not "adventurous", this is just OK... And very beige.

After 6-7 listens, still don't understand how come it's the first single. I remember Noel said 'Keep On Reaching' isn't even a single, that's how good the album is. The 3 tracks in trailers sounds more interesting than this one. tbf everything proclaimed about this song is accurate - Holmes said it's upbeat, true, Noel said it's joyful, true, and kids will like it, true - except that the joyfulness doesn't have a contagious appeal, and kids like it because it sounds like the music from some kids' TV shows.

I see that beige is becoming an overused word now but what exactly does that even mean!?

I'd give this song a 5,5/10. This is not "adventurous", this is just OK... And very beige. I wish people would stop saying "beige" about everything. It's getting out of hand, really, and most of the times it's not even fucking true. It was predictable though. A Gallagher wears a parka and then everyone starts wearing parkas. A Gallagher writes "beige" on Twitter and everyone writes "beige" on a internet forum. That's how fanbases work I guess.

I stand by what a said. Average song with no appeal. Does no harm and no good. For me that equals to a beige song.

If "beige" is an appropriate descriptor for a song, then can we please institute a color scale for all ratings....
Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Violet Beige
Thanks in advance.

3/10. Awful song. Childish, Kaiser Chiefs-esque nonsense. If it wasn't Noel, I'd give it 2/10

7/10 I like the instrumentation and the tone of the song, don't like the lyrics and the beat and hate Noel's singing. This will definitely be a very interesting album cycle even if the first single might not live up to your expectations. I for one can't wait for this album

At first didn't care for it, but after a few listens, I think it's pretty good, though not great. I enjoy his singing and the joy in the song. I just wish there was more variation in the music and instrumentation. But for a pop single, it is catchy and fun. Sounds like a 50's throwback.

8/10. A throwback that feels modern and fresh. Not really the psychedelia blast I was expecting, but Noel brings together very diverse influences into a song that instantly makes me smile.

Not the best song for a retro beige boys. Go to listen Oasis or Liam Gallagher, Noel is going in a direction that many may not like too much. I can see much personal hate against him instilled by his stupid brother. Oasis will never come back again, put your soul in peace. I like the song quite a lot (gave it an 8), but IT'S FUCKING RETRO. Beach Boys harmonies, Ramones melody, there's a fucking little deuce coupe on the single cover, ffs.
