Seen tons of positive comments on social media, a lot from people who say they aren’t a big fan of Oasis/NGHFB. On youtube it has twice as many dislike of greedy soul for example. But i got what you mean. Imo a really different song from what we heard in the past albums, complete different from an oasis-y song p.s. I'm an oasis fan not a lg fan or a ng fan i used greedy soul cause it's easier to compare(again, sorry for my bad english)

Talk about a grower, fucking hell! Started off at a 5/10 for me. It's an 8 now. Brilliant song! A bit better than Heat Of The Moment, on par with Death Of You And Me.
Is there a scientific reason some songs take longer to 'get' than others? I mean this is straight up pop but takes a while to sink in. The Right Stuff is more out-there but settles in instantly, it's really odd.
Went from being disappointed to thinking it's as good as any first single from Noel's other albums.
What a fucking wonderfully joyous nodder. Noel does it again

Go to any NGHFB video - a lot of comment about 'unltalented Liam'. See replies on Liam's and Noel's Twitter accounts - everyone complaints about Noel.

Noel does it again I didn't like the whole CY when I first heard it (Maybe because I became an Oasis fan in 2013 and these songs weren't 'as good as Oasis material'). And now it's my favorite post-Oasis record! But I liked a couple of songs from the first Noel's album right away. Kinda strange.

I think it is terrific. If you turn off your preconceptions and just get lost in it, it is a thrilling piece of music.

Noel does it again I remember someone commented in Kasabian(?) section that a "grower" means you just lower your standards on each listening and it ends up being alright in the end I gotta say though, my expectations were sky high and I felt really disappointed initially but I do like it now.

Yeah but u know..this for sure isn't a song that make everyone(in particular oasis fans)agree and it's strange that it has almost the same number of dislike of FWIW that has more or less 1,8 million visuals more than Hm

Anyone heard the live version? Not going really well. Still don't know if I like this song or not. why do you think it's not "going really well"?

Someone doesn't like just one song, but some people won't like the whole album. I like it and that's enough for me.

I still remember that famous clip of Dick Clark on American Bandstand debuting the strawberry fields forever video and then asking the fans in the crowd their thoughts. They mostly ALL hated it. They look foolish now since that song is an all time masterpiece. Granted I am not saying Holy Mountain is anywhere near that comparison but it has more to do with hot takes and people’s ability to accept change.

I don't really care about that band anymore, but I gotta say that I enjoyed Ill Ray (The King) and Are You Looking for Action? much more than Holy Mountain, I think they're genuinely good songs. The rest of the album is bad, though. I don't really listen to their lyrics though and they seem to be quite shite. I like the musical vibe of Ill Ray but lyrics are really bad IMO. Same with the latter song, but it's a 8 and half minute dance jam and I like that kind of stuff.

Why is the audio on the music video so low? It's like they know the mix is terrible

Why is the audio on the music video so low? It's like they know the mix is terrible Partly could be an effect of the video. You're actively using two different senses at once. Also, it could be a simple compression issue.

I think that most of the people won't like the other singles but for me we've to listen the album cause it's not a collection songs but it's an only song or at least i hope so

Why is the audio on the music video so low? It's like they know the mix is terrible It's lower because it's less dynamically compressed. A lot of YouTube music videos are like that. Anyway, I thought everyone was complaining about how loud the song was?

You have to admit the mastering is terrible. It is. On the download. The video is better, though it's not in lossless. But like I said earlier, the awful mastering doesn't change a single thing about how much I like the song.
