I love it. No shame. It's not Live Forever - it's a fun throwaway track It's reminiscent of B sides like The Fame, Round Are Way, Stay Young - basically songs that I love more than Live Forever. |

put down whatever your smoking ... that song isn't even Bside material on As You Were ... I love Noel but this is shit I've just put down my massive habanos cigar....had another listen. Yup! It's still the best first single released off a new album since Some Might Say. This song belongs firmly in the Oasis Mk1 era, and sits happily alongside IHITIK, The Fame, Stay Young, Round Are Way, etc. It could very easily have been a track from BHN. Of course, if you prefer the shite from Oasis Mk2 and Beady Eye, then I can understand why you don't like this... Completely agree. Some people want the same song over and over and over. Half of Liam’s album is Beady Eye level, not good! The best parts he didn’t even write. |

Hmm well the masses disagree ... As You Were is sell in ng like crazy and been very well recieved.. I'm hoping the same for Noel's album ..this single sucks but Noel has been known for picking the wrong songs as singles or album tracks so I still think the album could be good overall. |

I don’t have any allegiances for one Gallagher over the other, truly don’t care about that. I prefer this because it’s different, love the production, whereas AYW is a decent album, but nothing special. The only negative people on here have Liam avatars. I have a Noel one but I give AYW some credit, there’s a few decent songs but general consensus is around 6/10. Just can’t get away from fact Liam didn’t write any of the good songs off AYW but that’s just a sticking point for me. Ok, we got it. I think that's enough with this "Liam avatar" thing too. I must have read it a billion times by now. Who cares, carry on and enjoy the song! |

People need to chill out, a lot of the people with Liam avatars seem to be copying his aggressive streak, just cool down.
Most enjoy the new Noel song, if you don’t fine, put on some Beady Eye : )

Let's forget about the quality of this song. Noel gave us this album cover  Name of the album is Who Built The Moon? Than we heard this Then we found out that first single is called Holy Mountain. HOLY FUCKING MOUNTAIN!And that this is cover art for that song  I was expecting 2 minutes long intro that is big fucking spiritual experience and and at least 2 minutes long guitar solo that is played on guitar that has strings made from nose hair of holy rabbit who lives in North India and you can only see him outside once in 7 years. And then we got this. I dig the song, but I feel this post 100%. Why on Earth is this bubblegum pop song - good as it is - called Holy (fucking) Mountain, and ffs why does it have that Radiohead-esque artwork? |

This type of song Noel hasn't revisited once since the door banged shut at the end of BHN. |

At least herepeople (usually) respect each others opinions. And you can discuss anything. 'Twitter-people' just write beige or potato or 'Noel wanna be trendy' or 'Noel wanna be rock'n'roll because Liam's back!'. |

Based on some of the comments on here, it looks like I'm obviously Holy Mountain's biggest fan on the forum. Still a 10/10 for me! I've had this on infinite repeat all morning.
